MULTIMOBIL 10 Reach out for the power MULTIMOBIL 10 the ideal solution With an imaging power of 10 kw based on high frequency technology, MULTIMOBIL 10 is ideally suited for intensive care units, neonatal departments, in the ward, and in the OR. Whenever it comes to mobile x-ray imaging in most demanding clinical situations, including abdominal and chest imaging, even of obese patients, MULTIMOBIL 10 is the one choice as it features optimal range and freedom of positioning. Unmatched ease of use in mobile imaging Mobile imaging couldn t be easier: plug MULTIMOBIL 10 into any grounded wall socket, switch it on, and you are ready to start the examination. Developed with a compact and lightweight design, MULTIMOBIL 10 improves clinical workflow capabilities and allows for high flexibility in patient positioning. MULTIMOBIL 10 can easily be positioned for imaging in all conceivable projections with the patient recumbent, sitting, or in any position in between. The counterbalanced swivel arm, the rotatable unit s head, and the collimator with a 100 W halogen lamp enable easy and fast positioning of the system. An easy-to-use control panel where only two parameters need to be set and a digital display of parameters. No fumbling with knobs, no mental calculations save your precious moments for patient care. 2
What is high frequency technology? With a conventional 2-pulse x-ray generator, voltages from zero to the nominal voltage are generated. But only voltages higher than approximately 75 % of the nominal voltage value contribute to film blackening. We refer to this as useful radiation. Lower voltages (less than 75 % of the nominal voltage value) produce soft radiation, which is partly absorbed by the patient s body. This radiation is the unwanted radiation called skin dose. With its high frequency generator, MULTIMOBIL 10 ensures that only a film-effective dose is produced over the entire duration of the exposure while suppressing the skin dose. Excellent handling The compact and light-weight design of MULTIMOBIL 10 facilitates moving and positioning of the system. The counterbalanced swivel-arm system allows for easy adjustment of different projections. A convenient and safe parking position for the freely rotatable unit s head ensures higher safety, especially when the system is being moved. Thanks to the platform s short wheelbase with polyurethane tires rolling resistance belongs to the past. The system glides easily on most surfaces. Brilliant image quality The high imaging output of MULTIMOBIL 10 up to 10 kw and 125 mas enables exposure times down to 4 ms, virtually eliminating any motion blurring. Although MULTIMOBIL 10 already supports a wide range of clinical applications, the remarkably sharp images made possible by the short exposure times enhance its utility in intensive cardiac care and neonatal units. An integrated microcontroller ensures power accuracy anytime and anywhere. The rotating anode tube with a focal spot of 0.8 x 0.8 mm guarantees sharp images throughout the operation. MULTIMOBIL 10 a safe investment Remarkably sharp image quality Short exposure times Wide range of clinical applications Powerful system in a compact and light-weight design Excellent handling and easy to maneuver 3
MULTIMOBIL 10 High frequency and 2-pulse a comparison Efficiency of output output voltage 2-pulse Generators useful output skin dose 0 time T output voltage High Frequency Generators useful output 0 time T The high frequency wave form is practically constant at the peak value, marking the output as very efficient. The skin dose is smaller and it is safer as compared to a 2-pulse generator. 4
