3 Receiver parameters 3.1 Receiver radiated spurious emissions Spurious radiations from the receiver are components at any frequency, radiated by the equipment and antenna. 3.1.1 Limits Receiver spurious emission limits State Frequency range Power limit Receive 1000MHz -57dBm / 2nW > 1000MHz -47dBm / 20nW 3.1.2 Measurement procedure Anechoic Chamber EUT Amplifier Matrix Spectrum Analyzer The EUT is placed in a fully anechoic chamber and set to transmission mode. The measurement antenna is set to horizontal polarization. The EUT is rotated 360 and the emissions are measured by the spectrum analyzer with maximum hold. Next the measurement antenna is set to vertical polarization and the measurement is repeated. The measurement is performed over the frequency range from 25MHz up to 26.5GHz. Additional requirements for FHSS-Transmitters The measurement is performed with the receiver using two hopping sequences. For the lowest operating frequency the receiver is using a hopping sequence that includes the lowest hop frequency and for the measurement of the highest operating frequency the receiver is using a hopping sequence that includes the highest hop frequency.
