DESIGN COLLABORATION Crescent takes a comprehensive approach to meeting our customers business and molding needs. This is why our Program Management Office (PMO) manages all new mold builds, new projects, and tool transfers. By assembling a team of molding professionals that analyze and support your project from every angle costs, timelines, development progress, and material planning the PMO turns new OEM ideas into successful products. The engineers at Crescent Industries possess over 150 years of combined experience in plastic materials and molding. It s one of our key competitive advantages and can be one of yours as well. Our engineering team works as an extension of yours. As such, we provide much more than just Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback, we can provide crucial guidance on materials and part features at the earliest design stages. By incorporating mold flow simulation into our expert DFM analysis and utilizing our dedicated injection molding for validation, Crescent s mold design team can ensure that the molds are made right the first time, and that the resulting parts are made to spec every time. THE SCIENTIFIC APPROACH Utilizing our Scientific Injection Molding Principles, Statistical Process Control and state-of-the-art injection molding machines, our focus is to provide our customers with a robust process to produce the highest level of quality for our components and devices. This begins in the early stages in our Design For Manufacturability (DFM), through our qualification and Decoupled Molding process and optimized using our in-process inspection criteria with high-end measurement equipment. As a result, our OEM customers avoid costly problems later in development and enjoy speed-tomarket for their new products. These are just two ways we help them stay lean and competitive. In-house 3D printing services (Addictive Manufacturing): Since we use production grade thermoplastics for our 3D printed parts, they can be machined, painted, and glued just like any other plastic part for prototypes, part samples, and small production runs. When OEMs choose Crescent, they don t just get a vendor, they get an engineering and production partner committed to manufacturing solutions.
