Hey AC! Welcome back to school! My name is Michael Jitchaku, but you can call me just Mike if you prefer. I currently represent AC as the President for the next school year. I first joined AC in my first semester in college, (props if you can guess which semester that was). I joined AC because I was looking for an extracurricular to be involved with. However, what I gained from AC is more than I could've ever hoped for. Not only was I able to access a pathway to develop myself professionally, I was able to make friendships with people that will forever be invaluable. Whether you are reading this as a returning member or a prospective one, remember that you'll only get out what you put into something. With that being said if you have trouble with anything or need a place to hang out, the ARC is almost always open =). incerely, Michael Jitchaku
Aloha AC! My name is Jacob Baysa and I will be serving as your Vice President this Fall. I am very much looking forward to seeing you all at our events as well as around campus (and DnBs). If you're new, welcome to the club! I can easily say that joining AC was the best decision I've made in all my years in college. Whatever your reason for joining, there truly is something for everyone. My summer was a blast! I spent the first half interning with a local accounting firm and the second half attending summer school. Towards the end, I managed to squeeze a week off to go to Anaheim, California for Disneyland! It was my first time there and it was thrilling as much as it was relaxing. As VP, it is my goal to foster an environment that you can thrive in. I facilitate the functions of our xecutive Board and I can proudly say there s a lot in store this semester. I encourage all of you to make the most of every opportunity. If you ever have questions or want to grab something to eat, let me know! incerely, Jacob
Hey Accounting Club my name is Brent and I will be the Treasurer for this upcoming fall semester. I am a senior majoring in accounting and Management Information ystems and I have been in the club for five semesters. For my position as treasurer I oversee all the money, create the budget, and apply for school funding. Just call me the money guy. As treasurer, I don t have my own events with members in the club, but if you see me don t be afraid to say hi! I love meeting and getting to know new and familiar faces. Before joining Accounting Club, I had a small idea of what my goals were after graduating college. After joining the club, I created my future based off what I learned through office tours, professional interactions, and other members in the club. My only goal used to be obtaining an accounting degree and later obtaining my CPA. Now I am planning to double major, have a list of firms that I would like to apply to, and even the specific position I want to apply for. Through all the networking events, my future looks a lot clearer and for all of you I hope it will do the same! Hey AC! My name is YiHua Cheng and I will be serving as your upcoming secretary for Fall 2017. During the summer, I was an audit intern at KPMG. I would highly recommend attending the various professional events AC has to offer! I also got to travel to Orlando and eattle this past summer! It was fun because it was my first time traveling to those cities, I got to meet a lot of new people, and eat good food. If you ever know any good places to eat, let me know!

Hey AC! My name is Brandon Wang, and I am very excited to be serving as your IBC enator for the semester! As the IBC enator, I'll be constantly meeting with the other clubs and the Inter-Business Council to go over any joint events, and how we can all work together for a mutual benefit. My summer was truly one for the books. I had the opportunity to work as a full time tax intern for a large local accounting firm. I definitely do feel that I have a much more accurate understanding of what it might be like to work in public accounting now, and that I was able to take a lot from the whole experience. I would highly recommend a summer internship for anyone who is going through the application process, and wants to have a realistic idea of what it might be like to work as a full time staff at a firm. As for the semester, I'm really looking forward to all of it! We have a lot of great events, many of which we've had in the past, and many of which are new. omething specific that I'm looking forward to is being able to attend most of the different events that we have to offer. The IBC enator is more of a sideline position, so you can expect me to be helping out at the various events. This is my last year in college, so I'd really like to enjoy it with all of you! I can't wait to see the faces of returning members, and new members alike. ee you all soon!
