Description ATB200 is a compact, standalone and economical, but yet powerful and feature rich fleet management terminal. Comprising of a tri-band GSM/GPRS modem and ARM7 based microprocessor system, ATB200 enables its users to wrap their own products and services around our technology, in order to add value to their customers. Incorporating a standard and reliable tcp/ip communication stack, the precisely designed application layer protocol serves the system developer with a variety of convenient messages, commands, alarm triggers, etc. The two UART ports, 868Mhz ISM RF port, CAN Bus, One Wire Interface Bus (OWI), four digital inputs, two digital outputs, etc. makes possible implementation of many applications, like fleet management, asset tracking, remote monitoring and control, etc. With its integral housing, compact design, low power consumption and affordable price ATB200 it is an ideal choice for your fleet management applications. Functional specifications Over-The-Air unit configuration, maintenance and firmware update; GPRS based messaging over tcp/ip or udp sockets. In case of GPRS loss, if configured, certain vital data is sent with SMS. Advanced communication cost management: depending on the configured cost constraints, various message triggering schemes could be chosen. Two separate circular logs for recording system events (SysBuf) and other for GPS relevant messages(gpsbuf ); Configurable regular and exception based message (notifications or alerts) generator. When GPRS coverage is available, the messages, along with being recorded into GpsBuf, are immediately sent to the host via a priorly established tcp/ip socket. Otherwise, messages are recorded into GpsBuf, in order to be transmitted, when GPRS comes up; Each message includes: o message type (reason); o time stamp; o gps data; o vehicle ID; o driver ID; o mileage data; o etc.; Regular messages generated on elapsed time or distance base; Vehicle start/stop detection and notification; Engine idle status detection and notification; Track mileage; Driver identification (using contactless card reader, connected to the extension UART port); Engine crank inhibition (remote or depending on the driver identification); Voltage monitoring and vehicle battery low alert; Unexpected deceleration or acceleration alerts with configurable thresholds (accident detection); Towing alert; Geo-fence notification or violation alert; Route detection and auditing. Notification of selected persons with e-mail or with SMS when passing trough landmarks. Particularly useful for public transportation and school bus service management, where documenting of all stops on a route is needed.
