CCWDM Mux Demux 011 FS Customized Service FS.COM designs and offers all types of fiber optical transmission products to support Storage, Data and Telecom Networks. Our high-quality and cost-effective components allow customers to build the most cost-effective and reliable transmission networks. FS.COM supports different kinds of customizations, including: Product Overview Ⅰ Description: Introduction, technology and applications. Ⅱ Highlights: Compact design, low insertion loss Ⅲ Ⅳ Technical specification: Product specification Line Type: Dual/Single fiber Ⅴ Special Service: Monitor/Expansion/1310nm/1550nm port Ⅵ Housing & Dimension: Aluminum box module

CCWDM Mux Demux 2 I. Description Introduction Compact coarse wavelength division multiplexers (CCWDM Mux) is the mini version of CWDM Mux. Compared with traditional CWDM technology, CCWDM technology uses free-space optics platform which can significantly improve optical performance, in a package less than 1/4 the size of conventional CWDM modules. Unique Free-Space Technology The CCWDM Mux adopts Free-Space technology, which uses light propagating in free space to wirelessly transmit data. Inside the device, adjacent signal channels are cascaded by parallel beam instead of the fiber. CCWDM Mux Demux 3 II. Highlights Compact Package Design CCWDM Mux uses the parallel beam for cascading instead of the fiber, which saves significant space. The specific dimension of CCWDM module is less than the 1/4 size of conventional CWDM. CCWDM CWDM 44mm(W) x 25mm(D) x 6mm(H) 120mm(W) x 80mm(D) x 18mm(H) Extreme Low insertion loss The insertion loss of CCWDM Mux is about half of the conventional CWDM Mux. This reduces the overall loss of the whole link, and leaves more choices for the design of the solution. 6 CCWDM CWDM Insertion Loss(Max) 5 4 3 2 1 1.0 2.0 1.5 2.9 2.2 4.2 2.6 4.7 0 4ch 8ch 16ch 18ch

CCWDM Mux Demux 5 IV. Line Type Dual Fiber Transmission In the dual fiber transmission, one fiber only transmits the optical signal in one direction, and the reverse optical signal is transmitted by another fiber. The same wavelength can be reused in two directions. The wavelength of transceivers should be the same in both sides. The wavelength of transceivers should be different in both sides. CCWDM Mux Demux 01 6 V. Special Service Monitor Port It is used to monitor or test the power signal, usually at a 1% ratio, 2%, 3%, 5%, etc, also available. By connecting with measurement or monitoring equipment, such as power meters, spectrum analyzer, or FMT AIU/OPD card, the signal can be inspected without interrupting the existing network. Expansion Port It can be used for connecting to another Mux with different channels to expand an existing CWDM system. With this port, if you need to transmit more business in the future, then you don't need to change the old Mux, because you can use this port to cascade with another Mux with different channels in the future. 1310nm and 1550nm Ports These two extra ports allow existing legacy 1310nm and 1550nm traffic to be added such as conventional SFP, SFP+ or other data rate conventional transceiver. And with the 1550nm port, it can be also used to cascade with another DWDM Mux for expansion. PS: If 1310nm port is added, the following CWDM wavelengths can't be added: 1270nm, 1290nm, 1310nm, 1330nm, 1350nm and 1370nm; If 1550nm port is added, the following CWDM wavelengths can't be added: 1510nm, 1530nm, 1550nm, 1570nm, 1590nm and 1610nm. 1310nm for 40G LR4/ER4, 100G CFP LR4 1310nm for 40G LR4/ER4, 100G CFP LR4 λ1 λn CCWDM Mux & Demux TX RX 1% 1% RX TX CCWDM Mux & Demux λ1 λn Mux& Demux Expansion port for future capacity expansion Expansion port for future capacity expansion Mux& Demux

VI. Housing & Dimension CCWDM Mux Demux CCWDM Mux Demux is housed by the aluminum box, and it has 2 kinds of dimension. Dual Fiber CCWDM Mux Demux Dual fiber CCWDM Mux Demux is housed in the 44mm(W)*25mm(D)*6mm(H) aluminum box. Considering the stability of the structure, a 4ch product will be housed in one box, it combines Mux and Demux in one unit. And an 8ch product will be housed in 2 boxes because the Mux and Demux are separate. 01 7 https://www.fs.com//images/ckfinder/ftp_images/product/20 Dimension: 44mm(W) x 25mm(D) x 6mm(H) 181019171839_950.jpg Single Fiber CCWDM Mux Demux The aluminum box of single fiber CCWDM Mux Demux has 2 kinds of dimension. For the 4 channels CCWDM Mux, the dimension is 44mm(W)*25mm(D)*6mm(H), and for the 8 channels CCWDM Mux, the dimension is 55mm(W)*45mm(D)*6mm(H).
