Installation Instructions Important Information Please read these instructions carefully before starting installation and keep for future reference. Remove all packaging and check the product for missing parts or damage before starting installation. When drilling or fixing into walls or floor it is essential that you check for pipes or wires before commencing. Certain spare parts and additional components are available if necessary and these can be obtained by calling your supplier. When you are ready to start, make sure that you have the right tools to hand and that the installation area is clean and dry. Note: To prevent leaks, silicone must be applied on the outside of the shower and not on the inside. Save this manual for future reference. Safety Requirements Two person installation Gloves Safety Goggles This is a glass product, therefore gloves and safety goggles should be worn during installation. We recommend that fitting should be carried out by two people. Tools Required (Not supplied) Electric Drill 7mm & 5.5mm Silicone Pencil Hacksaw Drill Bits 1 Knife Measuring Tape Hammer Level PH3 & PZ2 Screwdriver
Parts Supplied A Glass Panel 1 B Wall Channel 1 C Base Fixing Plate 1 D Post Top 1 E Wall Support Bar 1 F Floor Splash Strip 1 G Rectangular Channel Cap 1 H Screw Cup 3 I Screw Cap 3 J K L Self Tapping Screw 4mm x 13mm Pan Head Screw 5mm x 40mm Countersunk Screw 4mm x 30mm M Brown Wall Plug 7mm 3 N Red Wall Plug 5.5mm 2 3 3 2 O Hexagon Key 2.5mm 1 Step 1 Place the wall channel (B) into the desired position. The slightly curved edge without holes should be facing outside the shower area. The bottom of the wall channel (B) should be inside the tile border (if there is one) and touching the floor. Make sure that the wall channel (B) is completely vertical using a level. Using a pencil, mark through the three oval holes in the wall channel (B) and then remove it. Step 2 Before proceeding, check thoroughly for pipes and wires in the wall. Drill three holes as marked in step 1, in the centre of the oval using a 7mm drill bit. Push the three brown wall plugs (M) into the holes. Place the wall channel (B) into position and screw the three pan head screws (K) through the oval slots hand tight. Make sure that the wall channel (B) is completely vertical using a level and then fully tighten the three pan-head screws (K) using a PH3 screwdriver 2
Step 3 Carefully place the glass panel (A) into position, making sure that it is pushed back into the wall channel (B). Mark around the base of the main pole and then remove the glass panel (A). Step 4 Place the base fixing plate (C) into the position marked in step 3 and mark the fixing hole position through the base of the base fixing plate (C) and then remove it. Step 5 Before proceeding, check thoroughly for pipes and wires in the floor. Drill a hole as marked in step 4, using a 5.5mm drill bit. Push the red wall plug (N) into the hole. Place the base fixing plate (C) over the hole, making sure that the slot is facing the wall channel (B) and screw a countersunk screw (K) through the hole and fully tighten with a PZ2 screwdriver. Step 6 Push the floor splash strip (F) onto the bottom of the glass panel (A) and screw the post top (D) onto the top of the main pole.
Step 7 Lift the main glass panel (A) into position. Step 8 Slightly loosen the two hexagon screws at either end of the wall support bar (E) using the hexagon key (O). Place the wall support bar (E) slotted end on top of the glass panel (A) and the angled end against the wall. The angle should sit flat against the wall. Once you are happy with the positioning make sure it is level and mark the wall through the fixing hole in the end of the wall support bar (E). As you remove the wall support bar (E) hold the swivelling glass fixing and once removed, tighten the central screw. Step 9 Before proceeding, check thoroughly for pipes and wires in the wall. Drill a hole as marked in step 8 using a 5.5mm drill bit. Push a red wall plug (N) into the hole. Place the wall support bar back into position making sure that the swivelling glass fixing has its rubber buffer inside. Place a countersunk screw (L) through the wall fixing hole and tighten fully with a PZ2 screwdriver. Step 10 Tighten the two hexagon screws at either end of the wall support bar (E) using the hexagon key (O).
Step 11 Place a self-tapping screw (J) through a screw cup (H) and screw into the inside of the wall channel (B) through one of the pre-drilled holes using a PZ2 Screwdriver. Push a screw cap (I) into the screw cup (H). Repeat for the other two holes in the wall channel (B). Seal the outside edge of the wall channel (B) using silicone sealant. Step 12 Place the rectangular channel cap (G) into the top of the rectangular channel.
