Read the OSHA standard for the exact requirement. In the Training Frequency column, * indicates that 1926.21 will be used to cite the lack of employee training. A CSHO s observance of danger or potential danger, consensus standard or the manufacturer s manual for end users of the product will be used to support the citation. Page 5 10/23/2008
In the Standard Number column, * indicates that the Construction standard follows the GI standard or that the GI standard includes construction activities in the Scope. *AN = as needed means that retraining must be conducted when the HAZARD changes; whether by the introduction of a new hazard or a person s job task changes, introducing a new hazard. Retraining is also required if, for any reason, the employee s work habit indicates that they may not have retained the original training. Page 6 10/23/2008
