Page 2 of 6 IMPORTANT In order to properly set-up and assemble the Modern Gathering TV Console, the following steps should be followed. Listed directly below are the basic steps but the detailed instructions given on the following pages must be referenced for more complete set-up instructions. Two people are required in order to safely and properly assemble the Console. Note: While unpacking each piece check all packaging materials for small parts which may have come loose during shipping. Do not discard any packaging materials until all parts and hardware have been accounted for. Step 1: Partially install the five Hex Head Bolts (), Spring Washers (H4), and Flat Washers () into the inserts located underneath the front edge of the TV Console. Only install Bolts a couple turns each until the next step. Step 2: Install the Bottom Door Track (1), with the narrow leg of the 'L' pointed up, onto the Hex-Head Bolts, on top of the Flat Washers installed in the previous step. After sliding the Track onto the Bolts, move the Track to the right to lock in position. Tighten all Bolts with the Open Wrench (). Step 3: Attach the Top Door Track (0) using the Hex Head Bolts (H2), Flat Washers () and Steel Sleeves (H7) into the three middle holes of the track. Attach one L-Door Stop (H8) at the left-hand end of the track using the same Bolt, Washer and Sleeve as before. Tighten all Bolts with the Open Wrench (). Step 4: Attach the Door Roller Assemblies (H9) to the Door (B) using the Hex Head Bolts (), Spring Washers (H4) and Flat Washers (). Tighten all Bolts with the Open Wrench (). Assemble the Door Bar Pull (2) to the outside of the Door using the Allen Head Bolts (H3), Spring Washers (H4), Flat Washers (H5). Tighten with the L-Allen Wrench (4). Step 5: Slide the Door (B) onto the Top Door Track and Bottom Door Track. Step 6. Attach the other L-Door Stop (H8) at the Right Hand end of the track, positioned as shown and using the same Bolt, Washer and Spacer as used to mount the Upper Door Track in Step 3.

Anti-Tip Hardware Installation Instructions Page 6 of 6 Notice: Riverside Furniture Corp. recommends that steps be taken for certain furniture items to prevent or minimize the risk of tip-over. This furniture is equipped with Tip-over Restraint Hardware for use to minimize this risk, if used. Please follow below installation steps. Riverside Furniture Corp. recommends that parents and guardians periodically visit the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at http://www.cpsc.gov/ and stay up to date on all issues related to children's product safety. 5/8 inch Screw Wall Stud Approximately 2" 2 inch Screw Install screws through the small hole in brackets 1. Temporarily locate the furniture to near it's final location in the room next to a wall. Locate a wall stud behind your furniture and also mark the stud's location on the back of your furniture. 2. Firmly attach one bracket to the stud approximately 2" below the top of the furniture with the 2 inch long Wood Screws provided. It may be necessary to drill 3/32 dia. pilot holes for the screws. 3. Firmly attach the other bracket onto a solid, structural part on the back of the furniture using the 5/8 inch long Wood Screws. It may also be necessary to pilot bore for these screws. 4. Move the furniture into its final position, taking care to line up the wall bracket with the furniture bracket. Thread a strap through the bracket as shown in the illustration. Tighten strap until snug but do not over tighten. Caution: Riverside Furniture Corp. assumes no liability for improper installation or excessive loads placed on screws, brackets or straps. Failure to detach this restraint before moving furniture may result in personal injury and property damage. Warning: This tip-over restraint is not to be a substitute for proper adult supervision. Do not allow children to climb on furniture. Items left on top of the TV and furniture, such as toys, remote controls and treats might tempt young children to climb. Push the TV as far back as possible from the front of its stand. Place electrical cords out of a child's reach, and teach children not to play with the cords.
