Sew cast on edge of beak, slightly folded, onto body, using photograph as a guide. Using photograph as a guide embroider eyes using tapestry wool. Join back seam of hat using mattress stitch. Make pom pom using yarn A by wrapping yarn around thumb approx 10 times, break yarn and take off thumb. Wrap yarn tightly around the centre of the loops and secure. Cut loops at each end and trim pom pom to size, using photograph as a guide. Attach onto top of hat. Bunny Rabbit BODY FRONT (worked in one piece from base to ears) Using 23/4mm (US 2) needles and yarn G, cast on 10 sts. Beg with a K row, work 12 rows in st st, ending with RS facing Cast on 6 sts at beg of next 2 rows. 22 sts. *Beg with a K row, work in st st for 8 rows, ending with RS facing Row 23 (RS): K2tog, K3, K2tog, K8, K2tog tbl, K3, K2tog tbl. 18 sts. Work as given for body front from * to end. Using 23/4mm (US 2) needles and yarn A, cast on 3 sts. Place markers at centre fold of cast on edges of both body front and back sections. Join body back and body front sections using mattress stitch, beg at top of ears and working down towards the base, stuffing firmly as you go. Sew base of bunny from central markers of cast on edges evenly along the cast on edge. Using photograph as a guide embroider eyes and nose using tapestry wool. Make pom pom using yarn A by wrapping yarn around thumb approx 40 times, break yarn and take off thumb. Wrap yarn tightly around the centre of the loops and secure.
