Don t DIS my Ability Art-care Plus at Great Lakes Art Society is planning to stage an exhibition for artists with disabilities from the 18.12.2017. The exhibition will be titled Don t DIS my Ability. The art-care group has been running for about 4 years more as a social group than active art lesson type sessions. I thought that it was time for us to showcase our work and also extend an invitation to artists of the Manning, Hastings and Myall lakes art societies who are Disabled by injury or disease to take part. This is not a competition. It is an effort to display works by artists who ordinarily would not be able to display.
