The 2018-19 Decorative Glass Collection has products to suit all tastes and styles of home, ranging from the very traditional Dorchester leaded glass, through to the show-stopping contemporary designs of Modena and Murano which combine beautifully modern fused glass elements. LEAD ART The Lead Art units are manufactured using a truly unique patented technique known as Future Units. The hand-cut Spectrum Glass pieces are bonded to a sheet of tempered glass and then finished with RegaLead adhesive lead. This creates a truly stunning, double glazed insulated glass unit, with the added strength benefits 2 layers of tempered glass. Dorchester Page 6 ZINC ART Our range of Zinc Art designs incorporate beautiful bevels or fused glass tiles against a background of etch-effect glass to create stunning contemporary designs. The glass elements are all hand-cut and outlined with fine zinc cames and then encapsulated inside a high performance insulated glass unit. The two designs we have selected for the Canadian market are truly unique and unlike anything else currently available. Reflections Page 8 Modena Page 10 ALU-CAME Our Alu-Came units are a modern alternative to the more commonly used Zinc Art technique. Made with a combination of weldless, chrome finish, aluminum cames and a range of contemporary patterned glass, offset with hand-cut clear glass bevels. The Alu-Came ranges are particularly well suited to contemporary doors and combine beautifully with our Urban frame system. FUSION ART Our Fusion glass is manufactured by heating coloured and clear glass together at 1200 F until they start to melt and literally fuse together. Although fusing is one of the oldest decorative glass techniques known, it is the introduction of modern manufacturing equipment and insulated glass technologies that allow this stunning style to now be used effectively in DoorLites. Symphony Page 16 CRYSTAL ART Our Crystal Art panels which are manufactured in our production facility in Scotland, UK offer all the design aesthetics of traditional bevelled glass designs but with clear cames. Not only are these glass panels elegantly designed, they are technologically advanced: The resin technology used in their manufacture adds incredible break through resistance and is 99% UV blocking. Havana Page 18 CRYSTAL CAST The stunningly modern slumped glass textures of our Crystal Cast ranges bring something very different to the market at affordable prices. It is our unique resin casting system that allows us to make perfect replicas of original cast glass and create a finished glass design that is indistinguishable from the original but due to its manufacturing process is incredibly strong. Urban Frame Our latest frame option, manufactured from a hybrid of aluminum and PVC, offers contemporary aesthetics with un-paralleled thermal and security performance. The Urban frame is a unique 3-part system with a slim aluminum external frame combined with a screw together, thermal break, PVC interior. The system is fully deglazeable and has been rigorously tested for security (UK Standard PAS24 and Police Secure by Design Accredited) and weather and air-tightness (AAMA/WDMA/CSA101/I.S.2/A400-08).
