Wood is being reclaimed from old farmhouses, stables, barns, factory buildings and old castles. 9 Old oak. Original surface. Oak wood is special in itself, but reclaimed oak wood tops it all. Old oak beams and planks with original finishes are a unique material that is being rediscovered for many new applications. Tables, stairs, the visible sides of furniture or wall paneling, to name but a few, get a unique, exclusive touch when using old oak. Oak beams and oak log walls mainly come from South-Eastern European countries, where oak wood is traditionally a cherished building material.

10 Old oak. Cut. Old oak never fails to delight us, even if the finish is not original. The sawn timber we offer gets its appeal from a unique combination of delightful reclaimed wood with a new finish. USE: Cut old oak is used for solid wood tabletops, wooden staircases, parts and front boards of furniture or for wall paneling.

11 Madame Patina. MADAME PATINA specializes in beautifully finished materials from original and painted reclaimed wood for furniture, wall paneling, floors and ceilings. The creative mind behind the brand is artist and designer Christian Loikits. A geometric basic design brings STRUCTURE and CONTRAST. The combination of variegated finishes from reclaimed wood creates looks that range from textile to picturesque impressions making our products a playground for inexhaustible sensual experiences.

Here it is possible to see a vast array of design possibilities and get a first-hand living experience. Three different apartments are designed to give an impression of the basic themes: Oak, Granite and Color. A distinct ambience for individualists who are looking for inspiration. You can enjoy the special flair of reclaimed wood by booking the apartments in the altholzideenhaus, staying overnight and getting a taste of the living experience.
