10 DESIGN WITH TEXTURE AND COLOUR Junckers textured oak floors have a distinct surface that is produced by a special brushing technique. By removing the softer sapwood from the upper surface of the wood, the tougher and darker heartwood is raised, showing off the lively grain structure in a silky-soft surface.
