5 Highlight : Shaper spindle tilting The FELDER Shaper spindle tilts rearward: This is an important safety feature for you when working with different sized workpieces! The Felder rearward tilting spindle is the correct way for easy and safe operation: Safety, since there is no pinch point No limitations on work piece height Power feeders may be used without problems Impeccable workpiece finish Optimal chip removal Forward tilting of the Shaper can be dangerous and has serious handling disadvantages: Increased risk of accidents Limited height of workpiece Power feeders can not be used properly Inferior workpiece finish Chip removal, poor or even impossible FELDER 5

6 Highlight : Quick change system for shaper spindle The quick change spindle system The seemingly limitless applications of your new shaper is further improved by the ability to completely remove and replace the spindle in a few of seconds. This allows you to remove the spindle along with its tooling at replace it with spindles of varying. This includes a high speed router spindle with a 15,000 to 16,000 rpm. For maximum stability and durability the Felder spindle has been designed with 3 high quality, high precision bearings! 7 Highlight : Precision 240 Shaper fence The dual dust extraction for shaper via the shaper fence and the chip collecting bin under the cutter ensure that the machine remains clean and good working results are obtained. Hardened anodized aluminum fence plates standard on the Professional range. Microadjustment on the shaper fence via a scale from exactly 5 to +25 mm ( ¼ to 1 ). Precision 240 Shaper fence The safety bar guides, great for end-grain work (optional). The 240 Shaper fence is standard. The Shaper fence can accomodate tooling to a maximum of 9 (230 mm) and has a fine adjustment system on the spindle fence outfeed side. 12 F year Warranty on the X-Roll sliding table guiding system! Precise tenons Accurate tenons are much easier with the Felder X-Roll sliding table. This precision guiding system will accept maximum loads without compromising the smooth and accurate stroke of the sliding table. The X configuration of the roller bearings optimally distributes work-piece weight to all sides. With conventional sliding tables, ball bearings are used in the guiding system. A ball bearing system creates a singular point of contact between the bearings and the flat guiding tracks, causing premature wear that compromises accuracy. The singular point contact will eventually wear grooves into the tracks and as a result, sideways play will develop in the sliding table. It is physically impossible for the X-Roll system (with roller bearing lineal contact) to wear grooves into the guiding tracks, hence the system will allways remain play free and accurate. The sliding table is backed by a 6 year factory guarantee. X-Roll makes a difference: Extremely smooth running and durable guiding system! The Double-Miter-System enables you to adjust the crosscut fence easily and accurately in 1 steps with the standard precision degree scale Crosscut stop Mounting set M10 for all alu sliding tables The edging shoe in solid sheet steel can be mounted to any Felder sliding table in the T-slots. The edging shoe can also be used as a kickback device during spindle moulding Crosscut fences Crosscut stops with integrated reading options.
