If you can locae your lo pins ha would be grea. Oherwise you may need o refer o he real esae agens lo plans or you may need o hire a survey company o come ou and mark your lo lines jus o be sure. Check your local codes on fencing in your ciy regarding fronage locaions and allowable fence heighs in your neighborhood. A fence permi may be required. Conac Diggers Holine in your sae for locaions for underground uiliies or pipelines. Laying ou he fence is an imporan firs sep oward a qualiy insallaion. NOTE: Ranch Rail fences are designed for level errain. For Significan slopes in he errain you will need o modify some of he poss and rails. Filing ou he roued holes in he poss and cuing he rails in half will help wih assembly on un-even errain. Sring Locae he boundary lines o your propery. Corner Pos STEP 2 Drive sakes ino he ground along he propery line and sech a sring beween each sake. We recommend ha all poss be se approximaely 4-6 inside of he propery line o make sure ha he concree fooings do no go over your propery line. Line Pos Gae Pos STEP 3 Mark he locaion of each pos hole. Ranch Rail fence hole locaions should be 96-1/2 on cener. A can of brigh colored spray pain or colored flags work well o mark ou holes. Gae Pos Line Pos Corner Pos

4 HUSKER VINYL Ranch Rail Fence & Gae Insallaion Insrucions 3 2 SETTING POSTS Dig holes 8-10 in diameer and anywhere from 24, 30 or 36 deep depending on your local weaher and soil condiions. 2 RAIL STEP 2 Posiion he pos in he hole. The pos should be cenered in he hole and mus be square wih he fence line so ha when he rails are insered ino place hey will parallel he sring line. Check he pos on wo adjacen sides wih a carpener s level and adjus as necessary o make sure i is plumb. The fence heigh above grade is also deermined a his ime dia. STEP 3 Pour concree around he poss and fill up o ground level. We or dry concree works fine. If using dry concree waer down around he poss when you are ready for he concree o sar seing up. The concree will be se up in abou 24 hours. Repea his sep unil all pos are se and ready for rail inserion and gae insall if needed. 3 RAIL dia. 4 RAIL dia.

STEP 2 Secure rails inside pos a each end as shown. STEP 3 Cu one 16 rail in half. Inser one 8 rail ino he cener holes in he firs wo poss. This creaes saggered joins ha will coninue on he full lengh of he fence. Use he oher 8 rail a he opposie end of he fence. You can purchase a noching ool o re-noch he rails ha have been cu in half or in mos cases you can pu a screw ino he rail o hold i in place. 4 POST CAPS Apply pvc glue o he inside of he cap and press compleely ono he op of he pos. Press firmly o ensure ha he cap is on as far as i will go. PVC Glue

For a 3 Gae you will need o have 36 beween he pos and a 4 gae you will need 48 beween he poss. For double gaes, such as 12 gaes, se pos 144 beween pos. The gaes will be made o fi hose openings. The exra space will allow for he hinges and lach. Posiion he gae in he gae opening and block up he gae as necessary o line up he horizonal gae rails wih hose of he fence. Hinge placemen is opional. We recommend placing he op hinge abou 4-6 down from he op of he gae frame and he oher abou 4-6 up from he boom of he boom rail. To insall he lach follow he prepackaged insall insrucions in he package. 1 1 Blocks 6 CLEANING During insallaion, your fence may have colleced dir. In mos cases o clean your new fence you can jus hose i off. For ougher marks, orange cleaner and a scoch brie pad works well o ake hose off.
