4 Step 1 - Tripod Base Tripod Star Keep surface smooth and clean. Smear with Silicone grease occasionally Winged thumbscrew Spread Tripod Legs and lock out by pushing tripod star down NOTE: The winged thumbscrew should be tightened after leg adjustment with detent pin inserted through each leg. Step 2 Seat Beam to Tripod Base Insert The Seat Beam Stub into the bearings in top of the Tripod Base. 4

5 Step 3 Attach Seat beam to Tripod Base with Clutch Screw Pin Hole Please be aware! the pin in the bottom of the Seat Beam Stub locates into the hole in the clutch disc when fully screwed in! Screw the Clutch Screw into the threaded hole in the Seat Beam Stub taking care to locate the pin into the hole in the clutch disc as shown above. NOTE: The Clutch Screw should be tightened until there is no up and down or rocking movement between the tripod Base and the Seat Beam! By tightening the Clutch Screw you can reduce the ease by which the seat can swivel. Over tightening may cause friction damage. 5

6 Step 4 Attach Back Support to the Seat Beam Unscrew the winged thumbscrew. Remove the pivot bolt. Insert the Back Support between the Seat Beam Back Support side plates. Re-insert the pivot bolt through the side plate, Back Support and out through the opposite side plate. Screw the winged thumbscrew on to the pivot bolt threads and tighten. 6

7 SHOTGUN CHAIR Format The shotgun chair format converts to rifle format in a matter of seconds Height: 57cm (lowest) inches Clips for carrying strap. (Strap provided). Collapse the legs, fold the backrest down to the seat for compact carrying. Height: 70cm (highest) inches This is excellent for Shotgunning! Although seated, you can stand very quickly and much more easily from this position. You can also use the chair swivel to take shots sitting down if desired. 7

8 Step 5 Attach Rifle Support Arm to the Seat Beam Pivot the Rifle Support Arm until the locking bolt with the 2 handwheel knobs locates the adjusting slots in the front side plates at the bottom of the Rifle Support Arm. Loosely tighten the Front Arm pivot, locking Handwheel Knobs. (Remove 6mm retaining bolt, which is located here for transportation purposes). Slide the Rifle Support Arm on to the front of the Seat Beam. Insert the 6mm retaining bolt and tighten using the winged thumbscrews. 8

10 Step 6 Attach Arm Rest/Rifle Stock Rest Remove Standard Rifle Chair pivot bolt Replace Standard Rifle Chair pivot bolt with the longer Premier Rifle Chair pivot bolt Place the Arm Rest/Rifle Stock Rest on to the protruding pivot bolt Secure the Arm Rest/Rifle Stock Rest by screwing the winged thumbscrew on to the exposed threads of the pivot bolt NOTE: The two black spacing washers either side of the Arm/Rifle Butt Rest are held lightly in place by a small piece of double sided adhesive. These are not permanently fixed merely attached for ease of attachment! 10
