Our manufacturing plans require frequent quality assurance checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure 100% print conformance. Even the variance between accuracy and precision can have a major impact on your finished parts. While precision and accuracy are closely related, suppliers that understand the subtle differences between them can ultimately provide you with a better product. Accuracy describes the closeness of a feature to its target dimension, while precision describes the variation between similar features in other words reproducibility and repeatability. It is not possible to reliably achieve accuracy without precision. At CMD Precision Manufacturing Group, we keep as much variation out of the process as possible. We closely monitor the temperature of the pieces we machine to keep them consistent. We control the speed and the feed to ensure all materials are maintained at the exact conditions throughout the entire process from setup through finishing operations like EDM and grinding. High speed, multi-axis milling is at the core of what we do. Add to that other vertically integrated capabilities like precision turning (Swiss and mill turning), EDM (wire and sinker), tapping, drilling, deburring and managing a diverse and robust supply chain. 4 chined Components Engineering Precision Machining Contract Manufacturing Quality Assurance 3, 4 and 5-Axis Milling The wheelhouse for CMD Precision Manufacturing Group is machining medium to high complexity parts out of a vast array of materials within very exacting requirements, often times.0001 inches or less. State-of - the-art milling equipment and best-in-class personnel enable us to provide you with defect-free parts that are delivered on time all the time. Our ultra-high precision 3, 4 and 5-axis hard milling equipment (vertical and horizontal) is some of the best in the industry. Precision Swiss Machining We can manufacture product, using our 7-axis Swiss machines, with the following attributes: Spindle capacity (diameter) - 20mm (.787 in.) to 32mm (1.260 in.) Length - 183mm (7.20 in.) to 305mm (12 in.). We can turn longer parts depending on part geometry and dimensional requirements Routinely holding tolerances of ±.0001 on outer diameters and ± on inner diameters

5 Contact Us: EDM - Wire and Sinker At CMD Precision Manufacturing Group we have a dedicated EDM department that includes numerous wire and sinker EDM machines, hole poppers and fully automated EROWA robot systems to support high volume and unattended machine utilization. This automation capability increases throughput, decreases the cost to manufacture and increases the quality of the product produced.
