6 Efficiency Efficiency is a dimensionless number, with a value between 0 and 1. when multiplied by 100, is given as a percentage. EFFICIENCY = Output Input Output is the amount of work released by the process Input is the quantity of work/energy used to run the process. Due to the principle of conservation of energy/rrc guidelines,, energy efficiency within a closed system (i.e.. 80 hour work week) can never exceed 100%. Your Goal is to Reach 100%

21 MyText STARPanel This is a feature that is available when writing STARNOTES/Forms Orange box, typically in the Right Upper part of Screen Create your own text that you use often: : i.e. Pt has been instructed not to drive while taking narcotics, do not n lift anything >5lbs for 4 weeks. Keep wounds clean and dry. Pt may shower, do not soak in tub for 4 weeks. Pack and/or dress wounds as described prior to discharge Call the clinic or return to the ED if experiencing nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain out of control, fevers >102, wound redness or purulent drainage. Resume all home meds,, take Lortab and Colace as prescribed

29 WizOrder PRIVATE ORDER SETS This is Where the Money s s at!!! From WizOrder Main screen Click Other (bottom right) then Enter PRIVATE Orders (at the top) Name the Order Set then enter common orders you recurrently use just as if ordering for an actual Pt.

31 PRIVATE ORDER SETS To Use: Open Pt s s orders through Wiz as usual In the Top LEFT click their NAME A screen will appear with boxes, choose: Playback Private Orders Set Another screen with your named order sets appears, choose one and all of those orders automatically populate with one click

32 WizOrder Common and/or Daily Labs Type Common labs,, look for OB common labs" Here you choose from CBC, BMP, etc with less clicking and can order serial labs (q am) easier

33 WizOrder Last few Points: Know your Service s s Order Sets Remember to Click NOW for medication schedule on meds you want to give right away Use Discharge Wizards for your service and to reconcile medications on d/c
