1 Cheyenne Little Theatre Players Director/Assistant Director Application Form I am interested in applying for (select one or both below): Director Assistant Director Thank you for your interest in directing and/or assistant directing a show for the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players. Your application will be given full consideration by the CLTP Programming Committee. You are encouraged to also fill out Play Submission Forms for titles that you would be interested in directing. The committee will begin the play selection process in June of each year and will finalize the new season by calendar year-end. The director selection process will begin once the season is set. The committee will give serious consideration to having you direct one of the titles you have submitted (if one of your submitted titles is selected by the committee for the season). If more than one director submits the same title or the Programming Committee has questions or concerns about a particular title that is being considered, you may be asked to prepare a brief oral presentation to the committee or designated representatives about: o Why you like the script and want to direct it o Your vision of the script o Your approach to the script. Please note: that if you submit a Play Submission Form for a play(s) that is/are selected by the Programming Committee for the new season, there is no guarantee that you will be the one selected to direct it (one of them). However, if not selected to direct the show(s) you submitted, you may still be asked to consider directing a different script selected for the season. The Managing & Artistic Director makes the final decision regarding selection of directors for the season. The new season and proposed directors will be presented to the full board for their endorsement at the January Board Meeting. Note to those interested in assistant directing only: Directors have the right to select their own Assistant Director.
