1 Global Exploration Roadmap Science White Paper Development Greg Schmidt Dan Britt SBAG Meeting 7 January 2015
2 Motivation Global Exploration Roadmap is a framework document created by the International Space Exploration Coordination Group ISECG has membership from 14 agencies GER reflects a coordinated international effort to prepare for collaborative space exploration missions beginning with the International Space Station (ISS) and continuing to the Moon, near- Earth asteroids, and Mars Space agencies agree that human space exploration will be most successful as an international endeavour, given the challenges of these missions 2
3 GER: Science White Paper The ISECG has decided to increase the prominence of science in the GER Under the guidance of the ISECG Science Working Group (SWG), a white paper is under development which will focus on science enabled by the GER After community engagement and vetting, white paper will be released with next edition of GER est. mid 2016 SSERVI to serve in coordination role for white paper development In close concert with ISECG and science community groups/representatives, including Analysis Groups Your input is needed!
