Scylla also contain a birthing pouch, allowing them to process the material they digest and deploy new forces onto the battlefield. 34 Tyranid Charybdis This enormous gas bag is filled with multiple stomach-like chambers divided by rows or rotating, serrated teeth designed to tear anything consumed into tiny bits. The Charybdis does not only pluck targets off the battlefield with it's vaccuum-like appendages, its waving tendrils also swat flying opponents out of the sky. Tyranic Charybdis have also been know to attack, latch onto and consume enemy sky skimmers, using their massive bulk and flailing tendrils to crush the enemy vessel as it slurps the crew off the deck. You can combine attackers in such a way to gain multiple attacks against a target, but each attack must have minimum Strength of 3. Example 1: A group of twenty Blade gaunts attack a Warthog. Since only two Gun gaunts are in direct base-to-base contact with a given battlesuit, they do not qualify for the minimum of 3 base-to-base contacts per enemy model, and thus cannot use this ability against the terminators. If the Gun gaunts manage to whittle the battlesuits down to three remaining battlesuits without suffering losses, they could then use this ability as they meet the minimum of 3 Gun gaunts per battlesuit, but it would only be a single Strength 4 attack against each surviving battlesuit. Warpdancer Models with this mutation can move twice their movement rate when given an Advance, Run or Assault order. The units ignore intervening terrain, but cannot end their movement in impassible terrain and must take dangerous terrain tests if they end their movement in such terrain. When moved in this manner, the unit cannot shoot, but gains a +2 Cover bonus until the next turn. If a warpdancer model assaults, the assaulted unit cannot React unless it has Braced. Wave Weapon When this weapon is used to attack, make a Ranged Attack against each model in the weapon's base range. On a hit, the target model is wounded as normal. This weapon cannot attack models outside of its base range. The Cthonic Factor At the start of every Assault phase, a model with the Cthonic Factor must alter their form into one of the three listed below. The bonus gained lasts until the end of the phase.
