From the design of the transformer to the finished product, the engineers at EDCOR work hard to design high quality, long lasting, and durable products for you. EDCOR engineers and custom computer programs written by EDCOR designs each transformer EDCOR builds. Therefore each product will perform to its maximum without degradation. Manufacturing The attention to quality then flows to the Manufacturing Department where the products are assembled and inspected. Each unit goes through multiple inspections. Testing and Quality The Testing and Quality Control Department tests to verify that the test parameters meet the published specifications. Each unit then goes through a final quality control inspection (QCI). Fast Delivery EDCOR has a fast delivery policy that is unsurpassed. The best way to be assured a J.I.T. (Just In Time) order is to specify the ship date when placing your order. EDCOR uses the J.I.T. program with all suppliers and our production line has been developed for short run J.I.T. for our customers. 6 2003 Series Audio Pre-Amp Catalog v5.01 Broadcast Quality Sound These audio pre-amps use high quality low noise components to deliver broadcast and recording quality sound. Continuous Use Design Each unit is designed to operate continuously. There is no degradation of the unit if left ON all the time. Specially Designed Inputs Each unit has an input that is designed for a specific input type. The 2003 has a single unbalanced auxiliary level input while the 2003S is a stereo version. The 2003B is a single balanced line level input with the 2003SB a balanced stereo version. The connector for balanced inputs are a Eurostyle connector while the unbalanced inputs are standard phono (RCA type) jacks Balanced Line Output This is a balanced 600 ohms line output. This output is ideal for telephone lines, signal processors, amplifiers, or any other units that have a balanced line input. The connector is a Eurostyle connector. Unbalanced Line Output This output is designed to supply signal to any unbalanced auxiliary level input like a tape recorder, system monitors, or to another mixer. The connector is a standard phono (RCA type) jack. Volume Control There is one volume control that controls the output level. Electronics Protection Circuits This product has electronic protection circuits that will activate when a problem is detected. This circuit is designed to provide protection to the unit s functional circuits and to the output connections. Continuous Use Design Each unit is designed to operate continuously. Stereo Unbalanced Line Input This is a stereo unbalanced auxiliary line input. The connector is an unbalanced standard phono (RCA type) jack. This input/output is ideal for CD players, tape decks, tuners or other stereo unbalanced auxiliary level inputs. Mono Output The S2M has a mono unbalanced auxiliary level output and a balanced line level output. The S2M-3 has a mono balanced microphone level output. The connector for the unbalanced level output is a phono (RCA type) jack. The balanced level output is a Eurostyle connector. Bidirectional The S2M can be used bidirectional. It can convert a stereo signal to mono signal while maintaining stereo separation. It also converts a mono signal into a pseudo stereo signal. Input With the WA series you have a choice of 4 or 8 ohms input impedance. Output The output comes with distribution voltages of 25 & 70, 70 & 100 or 70 & 140 volts.
