PERFORMANCE DATA: Resolution versus photon energy Gauß broadening [ev] 400m 300m 200m 100m Exit Slit setting : 10 µm 20 µm 50 µm 100 µm 140 µm calculated Photon Energy [ev] Gauß broadening of the Monochromator (Grating: 1000 l/mm) plotted versus Photo Energy. The Gauß broadening was measured at three different photon energies using three gas absorption thresholds. The calculated resolution (c ff =2.2 / slit width equal to source image size) is given as straight line. Page 2 of 6
