18 Performance Trial results! Satisfactory interoperability in terms of equipment visibility, VPCs and VCCs configuration, E1 and IP configuration! Joined management for the radio & PON system! Performance evaluated with the interconnected Radio+PON system are almost equal to those observed for the radio and PON stand-alone systems (except latency) 18 18

19 Service Trial! High speed Internet! Video streaming coded in MPEG-4 at 750, 1050 and 1800 kb/s over IP transmitted over. The IP UNI is configured for a 2 Mb/s of peak rate! Video conference (IP UNI configured for a 2 Mb/s of peak rate )! Connection with WLAN system (idem) NO RELEVANT DIFFERENCES IN PERFORMANCES 19 19

20 Conclusions! Good working of the tested integrated system Promising candidate for one of the final drop in an heterogeneous network Proposed improvements:! To increase radio channel capacity A!
