Each card makes a complete FFT of the signal (rectangular 1024 ppp) on each period and returns resulting parameters (RMS, frequency, THD, amplitude and phase of harmonics up to the rank 512, powers P + Q + S, power factor...). Thus it becomes possible to trace the curves of the parameters calculated period by period indefinitely. At the same time, the raw data are stored on each card and then transferred to the control PC. The Gigabits Ethernet link of each card allows to extend the recording time to the capacity of the PC hard disk. A trigger, with pre and post trigger registration system, ensures that the event will be analysed, recorded and dated (if signal IRIG B available). The complex trigger implementation is made easier thanks to a graphical interface using logic gates to make the equation that will trigger the recording. All parameters (raw data or calculated values) can fit into the equation of the trigger, and this for all cards, including digital channels. The system then calculates the associated physical quantities (VRMS, IRMS, P, Q, S, PS) for each period. (3) Thanks to the IRIG B dating, it is possible to calculate energy even for very long periods of time. It is also possible to compare acquired data at the same time on remote sites. When a mode is chosen, it applies to all the channels of the system. FFT mode: The acquisition card permanently records the input signal and analyzes it by a FFT on 1024 points. The calculated values are then averaged through a parameterized filter. - For one channel: complete FFT of the fundamental signal (amplitude and phase), harmonic (amplitude and phase) up to rank 512, RMS value, peak value, THD. - For a group of 2 or 6 channels: P (Watt), Q (VAR), S (VA), FP (cos φ ) Triggered mode: The card acquires the signal from an event. The trigger is made from configurable events: RMS value of fundamental or harmonic, instantaneous value, peak value, THD, power factor (cos φ), P, Q, S, or a combination of digital inputs. In triggered mode, the system returns the same information as in the FFT mode before the trigger. At the moment of the trigger and during the recording, these information are frozen and replaced by the temporal signal that appears as recording has progressed. Document ref. 4 CONTROL SOFTWARE "Data acquisition system" of OPS1 Puissance+ software allows a total configuration of the system. On this first screen, the user will declare the channels which are used or not, according to the cards present in the system. Then, the user can configure, for each channel, the type of measure and the desired harmonic analysis. This screen also allows to declare the digital inputs which are used. On this second screen, the acquisition parameters of each analog channel can be defined: Its label, Its type, differential or common mode, Its voltage range, Its type of acquisition and the sampling frequency The signal filtering This third screen allows a visualization of channels acquisitions. The user chooses, among a list of parameters, the one he wants to see: RMS, THD or harmonics pour one channel Frequency and power for one card Document ref. 5 This fourth screen allows to set acquisitions trigger: By analog input (SCA), By a group of data (GCA), By digital input (DCs). This screen allows to create logical combinations from digital data. These combinations are graphically created by adding logic gates or equations «OPS» part of «OPS1» allows the direct exploitation of data. It also converts data to specific formats (Magali, Flexpro) as well as files printing and saving. The main functions are those of curves editor: Simultaneous display of all channels, Zoom mode with double windows, Available sliders for advanced calculations: FFT, RMS, average, peak to peak, min - max, frequency, THD, CF... 6 OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT To connect this acquisition system, we propose a set of current or voltage sensors. Once powered and equipped with their load impedance, they connect directly on input A or B of a card.
