She is a life member of IETE and ISTE. She completed her Master s in the field of Applied Electronics from Anna University, CEG campus Chennai by She completed her PhD in 2010 from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, in the research area of ad hoc networks. She has teaching experience in the field of optical communication, computer networks, ad hoc networks and wireless communication.
