2 Thermal Imager The Testo thermal imagers save time, energy and money in industrial thermography, ensuring more security all rounds. Thermal imagers discover anomalies and weak spots in buildings quickly and without damage. Thermal imagers allow an evaluation of the heat status of low, medium and high voltage systems. Thermal images lead to early recognition of defective components, so that the required targeted preventive steps can be taken. This minimizes the dangerous risk of fire and avoids costly production downtimes. The thermal imager is enough to discover irregular temperature distribution. Silting and blockages in radiators are reliably detected. If doors or windows are not correctly installed, in winter cold air can enter and warm indoor air can escape. Draughts, increased ventilation heat loss, and above all, high energy costs, are the result. The combination of thermography and Blower Door has proven its value. In this procedure, a negative pressure is created in the building, so that cool outside air can flow into the building through leaky seals and cracks. The thermal imager makes the detection of the leaks considerably easier. Gaps in the building seal are thus localized before facings and installations make any repair work complicated and costly.

3 Solar Pathfinder instrument The Solar Pathfinder instrument will help for determining the size of the solar thermal and PV systems. Photovoltaic panels are affected by partial shade more than other types of collectors. Shade over a portion of the panel can greatly limit power output. Partial shade from towers, poles, deciduous trees and other objects would be considered nearly the same as total shade for older panels. Several locations should be evaluated to find the one with the greatest collection potential. The Solar pathfinders will also help to determine the following: 1. The sun's energy that could potentially and actually reach the collectors surface, a percentage of the sun's radiation can be blocked by trees, buildings, hills, clouds, dust, water vapor in the air, and other things. 2. The energy that will be lost between the collector and the point of use, 3. The effect of the slope and orientation of the collector on the amount of solar energy received.

4 VIP System 3 Digital energy analyzer ELCONTROL Energy's VIP-SYSTEM-3 is an affordable, portable analyzer with a built-in printer which takes measurements on three phases and calculates the equivalent three-phase values. The VIP-SYSTEM-3 measures and prints voltages, currents, power levels, power factor and harmonic distortion. It also measures total and time-band kilowatt hour usage. Alongside instantaneous measurement readings, it provides average values and records maximum power and distortion readings. The built-in printer can provide printouts of parameter trends and alarm states in graph form. The VIP-SYSTEM-3, with the addition of a Memory Pack, stores all measured data for later use. The Memory Pack can be used to program and carry out automatic measurement surveys, with the option of data transfer to a Host Computer or Remote Printer. A special function card can be inserted to expand the VIP-SYSTEM-3's operating possibilities, including new functions such as monitoring of leakage, temperature, etc. The analyzer is equipped with an input for auxiliary parameters and compartments for the Memory Pack and special function cards. 7 Multi-function Data Logger Testo The handy measuring instrument Nearly all of the probes from the Testo range can be connected to the universal hand-held instrument. The automatic probe recognition function facilitates quick measurements. In air conditioning technology several parameters can be quickly measured on location e.g. temperature, humidity, velocity and pressure. All of the boundary conditions for an independent long-term measurement are programmable: start of measurement, end of measurement, location name and alarm outputs are determined by selectable starting criteria. The six freely assignable channels and three measuring programs make the data logger very versatile. There are various additional special functions available for air conditioning and ventilation technology: averaging, volume flow display, Pitot tube calculation etc. All of the settings in the data logger are prepared first in the PC and are then loaded into the data logger. Only the measurement is started on the measuring location. The processing of saved measured in the PC is just as uncomplicated as configuring.

8 Flue Gas Analyzer Testo 350 is used in the assessment of the efficiency of boilers and furnaces The Testo 350 is a portable flue gas-measuring instrument with an integrated velocity and humidity measuring system. It measures flow from outside plastic, metal or concrete-lined pipes non-intrusively, so there's no pressure drop, leaks or contamination. The PT868's man/machine interface is the most advanced of any available flowmeter. Using the meter's large LCD and keyboard, the user has access to volumetric and energy flow rate, totalized flow and trend data, all in alphanumeric and graphic formats. It even has a built-in waveform oscilloscope function for diagnostic purposes. Accuracy is typically 1 to 2% of reading with clamp-on and better than 1% with wetted transducers. Range is 0.1 to 40 feet per second, for a turndown ratio of 400 to 1. Current or voltage and RS232 outputs are standard. Optional thermal or impact printers are available. Measurement is obstruction less, causing no pressure drop, and is no contaminating. The TransPort flowmeter comes in an all-inclusive carrying case.

12 Testo 845 Adjustable Focus Infrared Thermometer The testo 845 is a compact infrared thermometer with switch optics for the non-contact measurement of surface temperatures. The switchable optics for far-field and close focus measurements make it possible to measure at short as well as at greater distances. Measurements in the far field are taken at an optical resolution of 75:1. This allows surface temperatures to be measured accurately even at greater distances to the measurement object. At a distance of 1.2 metres to the measurement object, the measurement point diameter is only 16 mm. A cross laser marks the measurement site exactly. Whether close up or at a long distance, the Testo 845 gives you readings with an accuracy of 0.75% or better, plus it can also log the data points for analysis (up to 90 points). This Testo IR thermometer features a wide range of -30 to 1750 F (-35 to +950 C) and a spectral range of 8 to 14 µm. Other features for the Testo 845 include pinpoint laser sighting, ultra-fast capabilities (100 m sec), MIN/MAX values and alarm limits. The Testo 845 adjustable focus IR thermometer comes complete with PC software, USB cable, tripod mounting bracket, carry case, wrist strap, and battery and calibration certificate.
