2 HELLO MY NAME IS DAVE WELLINGTON AND I AM YOUR PUBLICITY DIRECTOR DUTIES OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR Appoint and chair the Public Relations Committee. Promote the Club in the community through flyers, posters and announcements. Buy advertising as deemed necessary by the Executive. Notify members of special meetings and events. Notify the public of special meetings and events. Maintain a friendly relationship with local photographic retailers. Appoint an editor and produce the annual membership handbook. Report to the President and to the Executive.

3 THE LONDON CAMERA CLUB BROCHURE HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS Photography Department

4 . All London Camera Club events will be posted to our Facebook page and other local photography meetup groups in London. Your club events will also be shared with other camera clubs in Southwestern Ontario (SWOPA).

5 . Your London Camera Club members will be manning the Western Fair Photo Contest for the entire 10 days of the fair. Members will be providing security for the photo booth and talking to the public, fielding questions about the London Camera Club. September 11 th to September 20 th.

11 Date: Saturday, October 3, 2015 Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Location Details: The Coves, London Walk leader for this year: Donna Currie After the walk, meet at: lunch at a local spot (TBD) Photo Walk Description This year, I would like to explore and enjoy the Coves, London, Ontario. this is a very secluded, quite lovely and protected natural habitat, pond area surrounded by downtown, and a bit of suburbia, and an older neighborhood in London, Ontario, the pond is fed by the Thames River, there are a lot of gardens and great nature to explore, turtles, pond life, herons, birds, ducks and of course there should be some awesome fall colour starting to happen.
