Each remote can control an unlimited number of bulbs, allowing you to easily create grand effects. Each kit comes with one remote controller and one RGB bulb. These A shaped bulbs screw directly into standard E26 sockets simply replace old bulbs with the linkup-rgb-bulb and customize the perfect lighting. The easy-to-use RGB LinkUp LED Light Bulb requires no special power sources or electrical equipment. Use any standard E26 base lighting fixture. Furthermore, this bulb accepts a wide range of input voltages ( VAC) which includes the standards used in most countries. Utilization of radio frequency wireless communication allows you to customize settings in real time and through walls, within 65 feet (20 meters) of the bulbs. The LinkUp family of bulbs is intended for use with either the remote (included in LinkUp bulb kits) or the Android/iPhone app (requires the linkup-wifi router). Each of these options provides the same broad range of functionality, giving you the ability to choose whichever type of control is most convenient. 4 Operation Powering Up Power should be turned off while installing bulbs. At all other times, power should be kept on, and bulbs should be controlled by LinkUp remote or wifi app only. Screw the bulb into a standard E26 socket or any lighting fixture with a E26 base. Remove the back of the remote control and insert two AAA batteries. Make sure to always control the bulbs with the remote. If you turn power to the bulb off in a different manner, such as a light switch, you will need to return power to the bulb in the same way before you can continue to use the remote. Pairing Bulbs to Receiver Turn off power to the bulb, wait ten seconds, and turn back on. Tap the S+ (speed) button (see remote control functions list) as soon as the light comes on. The LED bulb will blink to confirm the match. Repeat this, pairing an unlimited number of bulbs within working distance to your remote. Each bulb may be paired with up to four remotes. Do not press the touch wheel while loading the batteries. This will affect the sensitivity of the touch wheel. Loss of sensitivity in the touch wheel is also an indicator of low battery charge. To delete the pairing, turn off power to the receiver. When you restore power, hold down the S+ button for five seconds. Lights will blink to confirm. Setting and Adjusting Lights To select a color, simply touch a point on the color wheel. The indicating light will confirm the color of your selection. B+/- (brightness) buttons can be used to further adjust the light. By pressing the M+/- (mode) buttons you may scroll through the pre-programmed modes listed below. When you reach mode 20 you will have to use the M- button to return to other modes on the list. Brightness can be increased or decreased in modes as with a static color. For non-static modes, the speed of the function can be adjusted using the S+/- buttons. The speed is associated with each mode individually; when you come back to the mode it will remember the speed it was left at the last time. Press the color wheel at any time to return lights to a static color of your choice. Please note: Dynamic modes (2-20) can become out of sync when multiple receivers are controlled by the same remote controller. This is due to the inherent characteristics of each receiver. Dramatic effects can be created by placing multiple bulbs in a dynamic mode such as all color gradual fade and allowing each to smoothly change at its own pace. When first using a mode with multiple bulbs you may need to reset these settings by taking all bulbs to the lowest brightness/speed, then adjusting them together to the desired level.
