1 Press release Konica Minolta expands European distribution agreement with Objectif Lune Langenhagen, October 2012 Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH has added the PlanetPress Suite to its European distribution agreement with Objectif Lune, a leading provider of open software solutions for variable data printing, mail preparation, document composition and workflows. Konica Minolta has agreed with Objectif Lune on a centralised transactional document composition, Transpromo and workflow automation offering. Since the signature of our initial agreement with Konica Minolta Europe in 2009, the company has become a key partner of Objectif Lune, says Colin Casey, Director of Business Development for Objectif Lune EMEA. We recognise Konica Minolta s commitment and marketing initiatives to support our activities in promoting the need for businesses today to integrate variable data printing and workflow automation. Since late 2009 Konica Minolta and Objectif Lune have had a pan-european agreement in place to distribute the PrintShop Mail Suite, Objectif Lune s flagship product and standalone variable data printing (VDP) composition tool. Konica Minolta offers the PrintShop Mail Suite to its customers and will thereby easily expand its VDP commercial activities through its offices around Europe. When Konica Minolta also decided to offer software for creating transpromotional documents (Transpromo) across this channel, it chose Objectif Lune s PlanetPress Suite. Objectif Lune and Konica Minolta jointly decided that the best course of action was to add the software to their pan-european distribution agreement to help centralise fulfillment, support and services. 1
