3 YSF - 300/DAR i The FluoroSpeed 300 Digital R/F System is designed for high performance Digital R/F and Bucky radiography. By combining the latest DR system with the YSF-300 R/F table, the system's capability is expanded to perform Digital examinations from GI to general radiographic studies of the highest image quality. 4 Increased Throughput The Imaging Control Unit has been designed with ease of use and maximum throughput in mind. The Imaging Control Unit features many automated functions to increase the accuracy and speed of patient positioning and therefore decrease the examination time. 4

5 Simple Power Control Handle The easy-grip Power Control Handle makes it simple to move the Imaging Control Unit in the direction pulled. Intuitive operation means quick placement at the intended examination position. RF Operable Control Panel RF control panel performs a variety of functions tableside, including pulsed fluoro control, APR selection, and image width and level adjustments. Instant imaging even during procedure enhances the efficiency of examinations. Tableside Switch The Tableside control is useful to operate the table while attending to patients. All Way Power Assist The "all way" servo-motor assisted travel of the Imaging Control Unit aids quick positioning during the examination. Full Stroke, Whole-Body Coverage All required positioning of the Imaging Control Unit and table during examinations is performed tableside. Full body coverage is simple to control, from the upper gastrointestinal tract down to the lower extremities. 5

6 Patient Care FluoroSpeed 300 was designed with both the operator and the patient in mind. This comprehensive system not only simplifies the examination process, but also ensures safer examinations at lower X-ray doses. 6

7 Low-Dose Low-Dose Pulsed Fluoroscopy Four low-dose pulsed fluoroscopy modes (at 3.75,7.5,15 and 30 fps) are available to suit most examination requirements. Digital Recoding of Fluoroscopic Image Up to 100 fluoroscopic images may be recorded in internal memory during examinations. These images may then be viewed using instantaneous or cyclic playback, which helps reduce exposure during fluoroscopic diagnosis. X-ray BH Filter Eliminates Superfluous X-Rays To eliminate soft x-ray, this system incorporates a BH (Beam Hardening) filter. BH screening cuts out x-rays that do not contribute the image. RF-50 Iris collimator X-ray tube Octagonal iris collimation effectively cut out non-required X-rays to reduce the dose to the patient. This collimation is automatically adjusted the exposure field to match the selected FOV size. Flat Fiber Tabletop A new carbon fiber tabletop is introduced to further aid patient safety. This low attenuation tabletop reduces radiation exposure to the patient and operator. Simple Access to Tabletop for Patients The tabletop comes out and the Imaging Control Unit retracts so that patients have plenty of overhead space when getting on and off the table. Variable Speed Table Tilt with Soft Start / Stop Safe and accurate patient positioning is achieved with a variable speed motor drive with soft start/stop function. The table is also designed to automatically stop in the horizontal position. 7

9 High-Definition 1 Megapixel CCD Camera A high-performance one million pixel CCD camera, developed from Shimadzu s extensive experience with X-ray systems, provides fully digital 1024X1024 matrix fluoroscopic and radioscopic images. Furthermore, even the slightest differences in contrast are expressed faithfully via 12-bit (4096 levels of gray) density resolution. This allows the accurate rendering of detailed gastric area conditions and fine net patterns matrix 12 bit resolution (4096 gradations) High-Speed Consecutive Radiography For Perfect Radiography Timing Consecutive, high-definition 1024X1024 high-speed digital imaging is possible at up to 15 frames per second. This means even hard-to-time regions, such as serial examinations of swallowing, can be observed accurately via high-definition images, with little ghosting or blurring matrix Up to 15 frames per second Large CapacityDigital Image Storage Accumulated digital images are recorded in real-time to an internal large-capacity high-speed hard disk. Images can also be saved externally to DVD-R/CD-R media, allowing storage of up to 2000(DVD-R) DICOM format frames on a single disc. 10 Fully Integrated Design Handles All Regions In combination with the CH-200 ceiling-type X-ray tube support, the FluoroSpeed300 performs all types of simple radiography. The ceiling tube mount, table and generator are integrated, providing easy positioning and setting of radiography conditions. 10

11 Fast Setting of Radiography Conditions Via CH-200 Ceiling-Type X-Ray Tube Support Two-way communication between the CH-200 ceiling-type X-ray tube support and the X-ray high-voltage generator allows you to set radiography conditions from the support or from the generator. Carrying out examination preparation while attending to the patient allows a wide variety of examination techniques to be quickly implemented. Inter-link with wall bucky stand allows the tube head to track the proper height automatically. ( * ) ( * )optional Tabletop Movement Linked With CH-200 Exposure Field Use the joystick on the CH-200 ceiling-type X-ray tube support's operation panel to electrically perform tabletop lateral and longitudinal positioning. The tabletop's high-precision linkage with the X-ray unit's exposure position allows you to smoothly perform examinations. Enjoy reliable exposure field settings and eliminate unnecessary X-rays, due to the aperture unit's built-in auto-collimator that adjusts the exposure field in accordance with the cassette type and SID.
