When adding Lime into the mix increases your colour intensity and the number of lumens you can get from a luminaire. Let us explain. Most lighting manufacturers will offer you RGB fittings, often they will expand to (cold or warm) and others may even supply. All with varying degrees of success but often the results are not what you had envisioned and can be bland or wishy washy. Powerful colours Where we differ, is our belief in powerful colours derived from. As well as the standard RGB, and technologies we offer. Adding Lime into the colour mix improves saturation and results in deeper hues. With all the mentioned technologies you typically mix the 3 primary colours and include White or use White alone. When we add Lime, we offer you a better mix of colours. For example, when you mix Red with Lime, you create a more powerful Red than you would if you mixed Red with White, simply because of the way the colours mix. Lumen outputs A by-product of Lime technology is a higher lumen output. When using standard luminaires to create white, you only turn on the White chip; to cool or warm up the White, you add a little Red or Blue (please don t as this makes the saturation and hue look terrible). Whereas with our luminaries, to create a 4000K White you would need Lime, Red, Green and Blue to achieve White, therefore switching on more LEDs, increasing the lumen output. What can do? It addresses many of the everyday problems designers encounter when realising their architectural lighting schemes, right from the product build stage. - Eradicates the colour offset problem that often arises in different brightness and temperatures - Ensures colour consistency across all manufacturing runs, e.g. the product you buy today will give the same results as one you purchase in six months - You can create a hue or white by setting the colour coordinates, which translates across all products featuring this technology
