Question: Can you furnish the contact info for the glass bead supplier in TX? Question: Is there an engineer s estimate for the project? Response: The Engineer s estimate for the project is $1.88 million, including Allowances but not including New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax. 3. Question: How far away is a water source? Response: A fire hydrant is located along the access road to the SJCWTP administration building, as identified at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Also, refer to the Additional Information section of the Project Manual for more information on construction water to be provided by the Owner. 4. Question: Can you clarify the noise abatement requirement? Response: Bidders must determine measures needed to meet the requirements of the City s noise ordinance (Attachment A). 1

Also provided in Attachment B are driller well logs for the Water Authority s nearby Vol Andia production wells that were drilled in 1960 (total depths of 850 to 1,000 feet) and a figure showing the

2 5. Question: There was mention of an existing well on or near the property. Can you provide the well driller s report for this well? Response: The well that is located on-site is a monitoring well with a nested completion. The well completion diagram and lithologic log are provided in Attachment B. Total depth drilled was 325 feet. Also provided in Attachment B are driller well logs for the Water Authority s nearby Vol Andia production wells that were drilled in 1960 (total depths of 850 to 1,000 feet) and a figure showing the production well locations. The surface units are post-santa Fe Group valley and basin-fill deposits of channel sand and gravel, and the subsurface lithology is composed primarily of the Upper Santa Fe Group.
