We reference Henri Matisse and his goldfish painting as well as his cut paper work to create a construction paper background. Used a Matisse YouTube video: example is in the shared drive. 4 of 13

In the ice cream projects students drew 6 patterns with oil pastel and created a watercolor resist. Ice cream scoops were cut out and stacked to create a 10 of 13
11 large ice-cream cone. In the still-life project students drew an apple stilllife with a "birds-eye view. The apples were sitting on a plate on a tablecloth. a pattern was drawn on the tablecloth. Sharpie markers and tempera cakes were used. Examples in the shared drive. April UEQ: A. Balance LT1. I can complete an art FA. Project based on A1.
