We are proud to present the Husqvarna Viking timeline that shows how it all began The rifle producing company Husqvarna produced its first sewing machine, NORDSTJERNAN (The Northern Star ) The FREJA sewing machine model was introduced, innovating with the perfect straight stitch. Versions of this model sold for almost 40 years Introduction of the oscillating bobbin - CB sewing machine, the sewing machine for families and craftsmen - became a global leader for more than 50 years A sign of the times, functionality became the focus, contrasting the earlier ornate styles. The first Husqvarna electric sewing machine was presented, the CBN Class The first free-arm sewing machine was introduced: the Husqvarna Zig-Zag sewing machine. A free arm offered convenient access. The zig-zag stitch created capability for many new sewing possibilities The Class 20 sewing machine was introduced. Exclusive features such as a gearshift transmission, and a jam-proof hook that needed no oil The biggest innovation yet: the Husqvarna 2000 model.
