The device is highly appealing due to its acoustic modesty, as well as its visual appearance it is indeed extremely quiet and is super slender. It is convincing wherever comfortable and aesthetic climate control is desired. The name TriStyle refers to 3 outstanding characteristics, which are truly unique in their combination: 1. The unit, with a depth of only 130 mm, is the flattest fan coil unit on the market. It is therefore first choice where room saving is essential. 2. The elegant flat screen optics of the GEA TriStyle has also proved greatly popular for lovers of good design. The device delivers the impressions of being consummate in design, yet of being modest at the same time. 3. As an option, the GEA TriStyle can be outfitted with a flat radiator. It will then operate fully without noise emission in heating mode. As a result, the GEA TriStyle offers triple benefits and a good bit more as well. 3 Comfort that s worth looking at Climate control in its loveliest form Pleasantly conditioned throughout the entire year The GEA TriStyle fan coil unit is the convincing climate solution for all seasons of the year. During summer mode, it assures pleasant coolness. Thanks to its precisely coordinated temperature-control system, is always guarantees feel-good climate in your room. On cold autumn and winter days, the unit provides cosy warmth. With application of the optional integrated radiator, silent heating operation is also possible on such days. Summer operation Climate control with style The clean, modern design of the GEA TriStyle sets it clearly apart from conventional units but without making itself obvious. This means that the GEA TriStyle can be recommended for use wherever aesthetics, comfort, and silence are all desired. Compact dimensions The GEA TriStyle is available with or without radiator, in 5 different unit widths. The depth is a constant 130 mm, and the height is 595 or 655 mm (see page 11 for detailed information on dimensions). Without its enclosure, the GEA TriStyle can also be installed in the open space between a suspended ceiling and the floor slab above. Winter operation Super-quiet operation The tangential fan, together with air baffles and sound-damping mats, mean that unit sound emission is extremely low. Simple retrofitting The GEA TriStyle is also outstandingly suited for replacement of existing climate equipment. Thanks to its slender installation depth, it is very easy to replace simple existing radiators with the TriStyle. Fast installation Mounting rails are delivered as standard components. They enable hanging the GEA TriStyle onto the wall or ceiling. As an option, the unit can also be placed out in the open, away from walls. Thanks to its flat form, it can also be installed without enclosure in narrow intermediate spaces that are available. Flexible connection components The components required for installation of the piping are available as options: 2- or 3-way valves, and a shut-off valve for the outgoing water. Convenient exchange of filters Even while the unit is still running, the intake-air grille on the front side of the unit can be very easily removed. As soon as the grille is removed, a micro-switch will automatically stop the fan. 6 GEA MATRIX intelligent control technology Just the right turn for the right room climate If requested as option, the proven GEA MATRIX control unit will be integrated into GEA TriStyle fan coil units at the factory. Your benefit: only completely tested equipment will be supplied to your construction site. Comprehensive closed-loop control possibilities: The GEA MATRIX control unit is available in model capacity rating stages MATRIX 500, MATRIX 2000, and MATRIX Control functions in various model capacity rating stages Bus interfaces to other equipment units Plug-and-play functionality Energy-optimised equipment operation Equipment ready to operate Highly competent service Global add-on modules LON interface Availability of effective service tools Beginning with MATRIX 2000, all versions are provided as standard with the two-conductor GEA MATRIX.Net bus system, which enables the GEA MATRIX units to communicate with each other. As a result, it is simple to implement daytime and nighttime switching actions, and to collect error messages at a single point. GEA MATRIX can also be connected to higher-level bus systems. In addition, GEA MATRIX assures energy-optimized operation of GEA TriStyle fan coil units. A coordinated switch-over function, for example, prevents heating and cooling circulation systems from conflicting with each other. Hardware and software for GEA MATRIX are developed entirely at GEA. As a result of close collaboration within the company, GEA engineers can systematically adjust the control system to match every component and in turn optimally exploit the possibilities of the fan coil units. GEA support staff also profit from this arrangement by being able to quickly and expertly react in case of any questions. Numerous additional global modules are available as function expansions of the standard local connections for the MATRIX control system. Examples here are: intra-group GEA MATRIX control units, clock modules, modules for activation control of chillers, modules for expansion of analogue or digital input and output signals, 0 10-V outputs for valves, and integration into a LON bus system in accordance with the LonWorks standard. Beginning with the MATRIX 2000, all modules can be simply and easily integrated via the MATRIX.Net bus system.
