5 Amy Chorew VP of Learning, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate As Vice President of Learning for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Amy is responsible for growing the brand s educational training platform as well as creating and expanding innovative agent tools and technologies offered to the brand s network. Amy has more than 30 years of real estate experience, including roles in sales, marketing and training. Since 2000, she has been on the national speaking circuit teaching industry professionals about technology strategies to help improve their business. In addition to writing four books on the topic of social media for the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), she also co-authored the NAR e-pro certification curriculum. 9 Terry Dwyer CIO, The Long & Foster Companies Terry Dwyer is a senior technology executive with a unique hands-on combination of real estate experience and expertise across a broad array of technologies. He has led or participated in numerous successful business transformations across many diverse industries, including publishing, financial services, retail, and real estate services. Among his many notable experiences, Terry served as the CIO at NRT and subsequently at Realogy, NRT's corporate parent for a total of 14 years. 13 Kent Hanley CEO, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston With more than 30 years of real estate experience, Hanley has managed nearly every facet of the industry from working as a loan officer and a real estate sales manager, to creating and operating ancillary real estate services, and serving in numerous senior management roles. Hanley is an active leader in industry associations and joint business ventures. He serves as a director and founding member of Upstream RE, a real estate market data consortium, as the chairman of the board for Realty Alliance, and as a director for the National Association of Realtors. 15 Lane Hornung CEO & Co-Founder, 8z Real Estate Lane served in the United States Marine Corps as a Cobra attack helicopter pilot and is a Gulf War veteran. Following his military stint, most of Lane s professional career has centered around the convergence of real estate and technology. In the late-90 s, he was an executive at ZipRealty, in the Bay Area, helping the brokerage leverage the Internet to grow from a handful of agents to a publicly traded company with thousands of agents. 16 Danielle Lay Investor, New Enterprise Associates Danielle joined NEA in 2017 as an investor on the Technology Team in New York. Prior to joining NEA, Danielle was a member of Goldman Sachs Financial Technology and Asset Management investment banking team.
