2 OVERVIEW KEY INFORMATION The Excellence Program is a three-day seminar plus two months in-house consultation organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia (SECC) and related stakeholders to support companies for sustainable growth with competitiveness in the region. The seminar is designed for founders and top managements of enterprises in Cambodia. The EP will award the top 5 selected companies after the two months in-house consultation. Date Theme of the program mainly focuses on the company capacity building, with consideration of topics that are most beneficial to participants such as Business Concepts, Financial Roadmap, Raising Capital through IPOs, Corporate Governance (CG), Reporting Standard, Taxation, E-Commerce, Trademarks, and Business Sustainability, which are practical and shared by executives as well as distinguished guest speakers in Cambodia and from Thailand. 3 Remarks from H.E Sou Socheat Director General of SECC Program Objectives In the rapid growth of business and globalization, all businesses share the same potential to grow and prosper. SECC wants to be a part to help foster and promote private sector in Cambodia towards long-term grow and success through the Excellence Program which will support and develop capacity and knowledge of participants by guiding on establishing and maintaining company standard, preparing appropriate financial reports, and accessing to finance which contribute to the business growth with sustainability and help prepare the companies for further competitions within the region as well as international markets. Expectation Participants will have better understanding of the above objectives and be able to take on and adapt to their own companies in order to be ready for accessing to finance through the stock market. Furthermore, as the sessions are expected to be interactive where speakers and participants are encourage to discuss, share experiences and ideas among themselves, it is believed that the network of regulators and enterprises will be formed for future cooperation.
