3 BOTSWANA DIAMONDS (AIM: BOD) Spin off from the successful sale of African Diamonds, the discoverer of the Karowe Diamond mine Licences in the Orapa Area of Botswana AIM listed in 2011, Market Cap million Operating in the Orapa and Gope areas of Botswana BOD has a 50/50 joint venture with Alrosa, the Russian Diamond Company, using their specific technology. The target is large high value kimberlite pipes. 14 licences in the JV Extensive 2016 drilling programme in Orapa and Gope areas ongoing Separately BOD has a 15% carried interest in 10 licences in the Gope area of Botswana. The blocks are operated by BCL. Drilling, in 2015, found kimberlites containing diamonds. Verification drilling needed Focus on PL 260 in Orapa where kimberlites are being tested 3

7 CONNEMARA (AIM:CON) JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENTS Zinc Connemara has two Joint Ventures with Teck Canada s largest diversified resource company JV in Stonepark, Limerick; Teck have spent 7.0m. Teck control 75%. Connemara have the option to dilute by not subscribing. Little work being done. JV in Oldcastle, Teck spending 1.35 m to earn a 75% interest, have earned 51%. Targets are deep up to 800 metres. First two holes found zinc mineralisation. Currently drilling Gold Joint Venture with Hendrick Resources, a private Canadian gold company JV exploring five licences held on Wicklow/Wexford border 130km 2. Hendrick is earning a 50% interest in the licences for 500,000, rising to 75% for 1 million. Good results to date. Hendricks is raising money 7

Management/directors hold 29% Operations Peru, Bolivia and Ghana Holds a 3% royalty on revenue on onshore block in Peru. The royalty is capped at $5m on the licence. Now operated by Union Oil & Gas, the Swizz/Uruguayan Agri & Energy Group 60% Interest in a block offshore Ghana, held via Pan Andean Resources Ltd. Awaiting parliamentary and government approval. Co-ordinates agreed. Negotiations ongoing. In Bolivia, hold a 30% interest in the Monteagudo gas field and a disputed 10% interest in the producing El Dorado gas field. Title is a problem due to 2006 nationalisation decree. There are multi-tcf gas prospects identified in the Devonian (Huamampampa) formation on the Monteagudo. New projects under evaluation OIL 11

12 PETREL RESOURCES (AIM:PET) AIM listed oil explorer founded in 1982 focused on Ireland with interests in Iraq and Ghana. 1,800 Shareholders. Market Cap 5.0 million. A joint venture with Woodside Petroleum on two frontier exploration licences offshore Ireland. Petrel has a 15% carry through seismic and one well on each block. Total carry to Petrel worth up to US$200m State of the art 3D seismic programme completed 2016 on one block Two new licences totalling 600 plus sq km in the Porcupine offshore Ireland in the 2016 bid round Petrel has a 5% free carry on licences being negotiated with the governor of the Wasit Province in Iraq. Partners are Amira and Oryx. Holds 30% of a concession on the Tano 2A block onshore/offshore Ghana. Awaiting ratification. OIL 12
