VISCHER advised AstraZeneca on Swiss law aspects of the transaction, working alongside AstraZeneca's in-house legal team. MedImmune acquired 100 percent of Spirogen's shares for an initial consideration of USD 200 million and deferred consideration of up to USD 240 million based on reaching predeter-mined development milestones.
