4 2015 Ge orgi a T rus t e e s The Georgia Historical Society, in partnership with the Office of the Governor, has reconstituted the Georgia Trustees, a group created in 1732 to foster the development of the young colony. The spirited vision of these leaders lives on through the actions of the Georgians whose service and philanthropy have profoundly shaped our state and nation. Please join us as we honor those in the modern era to join this distinguished group. Alana Smith Shepherd Co-Founder of Shepherd Center in Atlanta Paula S. Wallace Co-Founder and President of Savannah College of Art and Design Governor Nathan Deal will induct the 2015 Georgia Trustees. Following the presentation the new Trustees will engage in a moderated conversation, featuring questions on topics ranging from business to philanthropy to history and life philosophies.
