1 Blogging Guidelines writing content for INRstar

2 INRstar has launched a new blog inviting experts to share views around cardiovascular health, AF and self-care. We are looking for 500 word pieces on relevant topics that can include images, videos and presentations. This is a great opportunity to share insights and knowledge on your chosen subject where you will be fully attributed for your work including a link to your preferred website.

3 Please read through our simple blogging guidelines: Written work Please stick to the upper limit of 500 words or 3500 characters. Please avoid having a strong political bias. Please be mindful of readers and other writers. We ask that you do not write anything that could be perceived as derogatory to anyone in any way. If we feel that any content is inappropriate, we will exercise our right to withhold publication. Please write your text in an Arial font (Helvetica if you are using Pages on Mac) at sizes 11pt or 12pt. Please ensure you have a clear title to your piece and have dated and approved the submission detailing your name and how you wish to be attributed. Once you have completed your piece please save out your content as a word document. If you have written your content on Apple Pages, then follow the steps to export as a word document: save your document with no spaces, your name, date of submission and inrblog. 4 Uploading other content i.e: images, graphics, videos and presentations If you would like to include images, video, graphics and presentations please ensure that they are appropiate, unbiased and do not infringe any copyrights. Images Images should be saved as JPEG s at a medium quality if you are exporting from Adobe. Please try to avoid sending images that are too large. Videos If you are sending a link to a Youtube or Vimeo clip, please send over the title used to search, with a full URL link to the video. If you are sending over a video file, please ensure it is saved as a MP4 and label it with your name, date and title of the video. Presentations When sending a presentation, please export either PowerPoint or Keynote (on Mac) presentation to a PDF at a medium quality to allow readers to scroll through at their own pace.

5 If you have pre-recorded a presentation, then follow steps to export as a MP4 or Quicktime and save the file with name, date and inrstarpresentation or the title of the presenation. If you are having problems or do not have the means to do this, save your presentations as a PowerPoint document and send the files over for us to modify to marketing@scslhealth.com Graphics When sending infographics, please let us know how you would like them to be displayed and send as a PNGs. If you are happy for us to manipulate the images, you can send the original Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign file as a We Transfer to: marketing@scslhealth.com

6 Attributing yourself When signing off your work please include these details at the end of your content this may include any links to websites and an address or LinkedIn URL Title Name Position / job role address Website / Web Page URL link LinkedIn URL link Facebook Name Twitter Name 200 character count summary of yourself We will be uploading the blog pieces to our INRstar Facebook and Twitter accounts and so ask that - if you have social media accounts provide the Twitter and/or Facebook name for us to mention.
