5 Peter Pan a limited edition of 250 pieces launched in january 2016 This enchanting tableau captures one of the most memorable moments in Disney s celebrated film: Peter Pan and is inspired by the moment in the film when Peter Pan, the mischievous boy who can fly, engages his nemesis, Captain James Hook, the pirate captain of the brig, Jolly Roger, in single combat. Peter Mook has brilliantly captured all of the action and humour of this memorable moment from this timeless 1953 film. 7 Lady & the Tramp a limited edition of 250 pieces launched in january 2016 This enchanting tableau captures one of the most memorable moments in Disney s celebrated film: Lady and the Tramp. Inspired by the moment in the film when Lady begins to fall in love with the footloose and collar-free Tramp over a candlelit Italian dinner at Tony s, while being romantically serenaded. Peter Mook has captured all of the detail of this magical moment from this timeless 1955 film from the dripping wax of the candle to the delicious-looking spaghetti. 9 Sleeping Beauty a limited edition of 200 pieces launched in autumn 2015 From this classic 1959 film inspired by the moment when Prince Phillip and Briar Rose (she hasn t been told she is Princess Aurora yet) meet for the very first time and fall in love. All of the details in this magical moment have been captured by Peter, including all of the princess s delightful woodland friends who gathered to hear her singing. 11 Beauty & the Beast a limited edition of 250 pieces launched in autumn 2015 Inspired by the moment in the film when the Beast grants Belle her freedom to rescue her father who is lost in the woods. Peter has captured all of the detail of this magical moment from the timeless 1991 film from the magic mirror to the enchanted rose, the symbolic reminder of the Beast s quest to find true love before the last petal drops. 13 Elsa s Castle launched in autumn 2015 The Frozen script called for a dramatic setting, complete with ice and snow, fjords and mountains. Film makers knew early on that once Elsa s secret powers were revealed, she would use her magic to construct a majestic ice palace. Research was undertaken in Quebec City in an Ice Hotel to get a feel for how light reflects and refracts off snow and ice, making Elsa s palace really spectacular. 15 Elsa & Anna a limited edition of 350 pieces launched in spring 2015 This Academy Award-winning 2013 film was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen s fairy tale, The Snow Queen. Our piece depicts the scene in which Anna, frozen by her sister (the Snow Queen) Elsa s magic, begins to thaw. 17 Cinderella & the Fairy Godmother a limited edition of 250 pieces launched in spring 2015 Inspired by the moment in the film when the Fairy Godmother prepares Cinderella for the Royal Ball and transforms her raggedy old dress into a beautiful ball gown. 19 Geppetto & Pinocchio a limited edition of 250 pieces launched in summer 2014 Inspired by the scene in Disney s Pinocchio (1940) where he first comes to life after Geppetto has wished upon a falling star that his little carved marionette could be a real boy. Every intricate detail has been captured by Peter, from the grain of the wood to the water splash as Cleo leaps from the goldfish bowl in her excitement to join the merry celebrations. 21 Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs a limited edition of 250 pieces launched in summer 2014 Inspired by the iconic scene in the film when Snow White wakes to find the dwarfs looking at her in awe from the bottom of their beds where she has fallen asleep! Every intricate detail of the scene is in the model from rendering the grain of the wood to the adorable expressions of the dwarfs. 22 Handmade with Skill & Pride The meticulous process of creating each figurine begins with research into the film and character to find that perfect pose, and from this the hard work begins to bring that perfect moment to life Each figurine goes through rigorous approval processes with Disney, and once the concept idea is approved, the painstaking work of the sculpt begins to capture the full detail and essence of the figurine. Each sculpture consists of many parts, which allows us much more flexibility with the composition and ensures there is no compromise with the detail enhancing the quality of the finished figurine. The production process continues with the making of moulds to then cast each part of the figurine, which is made from resin. Once cast, each element is demoulded and checked to ensure there are no imperfections. From here each cast is cleaned and fettled (the removal of the fill and vent tubes from the casting), ready for assembling back into its original form ready for painting. It s at this point with the first whiteware of the figurine that the painted version goes for its final approval with Disney, before each edition is allowed to go into full production. The painted parts of each figurine are then checked for quality to make sure they meet our exacting standards, and if all is approved the pieces are finished off and assembled into the complete model. With their bases attached, their edition numbers are added and then carefully packaged. All processes in the creation of our handmade figurines are carried out by our highly skilled artisans based in Langholm, in the Scottish Borders. 22
