3 What is Bet the Flop? Bet the Flop is a great new side bet for poker games that have a 3-card FLOP, like Texas Hold em and Omaha. It generates additional poker table revenue for the casino or poker table operator. It allows extra player participation in the game since 100% of the players can play and bet on 100% of the hands without affecting the main game in any way. Bet the Flop bets are made prior to the initial deal and can only be made by players participating in the main game. The house covers Bet the Flop bets. 3

4 How it is Played The concept of the game is VERY simple and it works like this: STEP 1: Placing of bets. Before the poker hand commences, players have the option to place a Bet the Flop bet on either RED or BLACK or bets on both RED and BLACK. STEP 2: Play begins. The poker hand begins and after the first betting round has been completed, the dealer flops 3 cards in the normal manner. STEP 3: Winners and losers. Bet the Flop bets placed on RED win if all 3 flop cards are red, and lose if one or more of the flop cards are black. Similarly, Bet the Flop bets placed on BLACK win if all 3 flop cards are black, and lose if one or more of the flop cards are red. All red or black winning Bet the Flop bets are paid by the dealer at odds of 5-to-1. If the winning red or black bet also contains hand rankings listed in the bonus payout section, (e.g., flush), then the winning bet gets paid out on this higher payout scale of 9-to-1 instead of the 5-to-1 red- or black-only payout scale. See payout scale in diagram below. STEP 4: Taking the losers. All losing Bet the Flop bets are collected by the dealer immediately after the 3 flop cards have been flopped, and then the poker hand is played in the normal manner. STEP 5: Paying the winners. Winning Bet the Flop bets are paid by the dealer at the conclusion of the poker hand, after the player who has won the round of play has received the payoff, but before the flop cards have been removed. This ensures that winnings from Bet the Flop bets cannot be used as part of the player s bank roll in that hand. Note: If all but one player folds in the first betting round and consequently there is no flop, then all Bet the Flop bets are void for that hand. 6 Bet the Flop Points of Interest Relieves potential player boredom by creating additional excitement and winning opportunities for the poker players. Bet the Flop bets do not affect players playing strategies, and winnings are not added to the player s bankrolls until after the result of the hand has been decided. Bet the Flop can be installed on any poker table offering a version of poker involving a 3-card flop. Research over tens of thousands of hands shows that traditionally, up to 85% of poker players at the table do not participate in each hand; instead choosing to wait for the premium or the right cards to play a hand. This represents a lost revenue opportunity to the casino or poker table operator. Bet the Flop allows 100% of the players to participate in 100% of the hands, thereby increasing the revenue opportunities for the poker table operator without affecting the main poker game. Bet the Flop gives all players the opportunity for additional participation in every round of play. Bet the Flop bets do not impact the speed of the hand in play. Bet the Flop can be used in tournament poker. Increases poker table revenue (by 10%-30%) for the casino or poker table operator. If no Bet the Flop jackpot prize variations are offered and the standard Bet the Flop game is installed, a slightly higher house advantage of 6.14% is achieved. This means Bet the Flop has a reduced risk for the poker table operator (as no jackpot prizes can be won), yet offers a higher theoretical win rate. Bet the Flop does not expose the game operator to volatile high payout odds or big jackpots unless the jackpot feature is enabled. The standard Bet the Flop game can have a capped maximum win of $1,000 up to $10,000, thus further eliminating risk. We have, for illustration purposes as shown on page 4, used a maximum win of $10,000 in order to generate the right mix of player excitement yet reducing operator risk. 6

7 Installing Bet the Flop Bet the Flop is very easy to implement on any poker table. All that is needed is: The poker table operator to approve our poker screen table toolbar layout with designated Bet the Flop button displaying the minimum and maximum Bet the Flop bets, and the payout odds logo. Additional ticked-box options may give the player the option to: a) play Bet the Flop each hand; b) play only on his or her big blind; or c) play only after they won a hand, etc. A set of approved rules for the game, which we provide. Our API can be provided as a plug and play application to allow quick and easy installation and set-up with any customization requirements the operator may demand. Licensing Fees For casino or poker table operators wishing to test the effectiveness and profitability of Bet the Flop, we offer a free 90-day trial. Once the trial is complete, licensing Bet the Flop for your casino or poker room is cost-effective. 20% of net monthly win rate is payable as a monthly license fee. With 80% of the net monthly win rate retained by the poker site operator. 7
