2 Game Description Game Layout Rules of Play Triple Threat is played on a Roulette Table with a standard Roulette wheel and all the accompanying Roulette equipment. In addition, there are 3 additional special chips (per available player) that may reside with the table that players can opt to buy. Game Objective The objective of Triple Threat is to have the player purchase three special chips at a slightly higher cost than normal Roulette chips cost and then make three wagers with these special chips. After purchasing the chips, the player must select three numbers (in any order, same numbers can be selected) they think the next three spins will land on. If a selected number is hit in the first round, then the special chip (Triple Threat Chip) that marked the selected hit number is surrendered and a payout against the paytable will occur. If consecutively, a second selected number is hit, the second Triple Threat Chip that marked the selected hit number will be surrendered and a payout against the paytable will occur. Finally, if the third selected number is hit subsequently in the following round, the last Triple Threat Chip will be surrendered and a payout against the paytable will occur. If at any point, during any of the three rounds, a selected number is not hit, all Triple Threat Chip chips from that player are surrendered. Dealing/Wagering Procedures Start Game First Round First Round Dealing: Normal Roulette will commence. Dealers will call for bets and offer players to buy Triple Threat Chips. Dealers will call off betting after a certain point of the roulette spin. First Round Wagering: Players can make normal roulette wagers and request to buy 3 Triple Threat Chips for $5. (Normal colored chips used for the main game of roulette are still $1). Triple Threat Chips have a value of $1 each. This value is used for payouts against the paytable. Along with the normal wagers, the player who opted to buy the Triple Threat Chips must then select three numbers in their first round of play. Rounds of play commence when the player buys the Triple Threat Chips. First Round Resolve: Upon hitting any of the special hit selected numbers, the dealer will check the selected number

3 spot for any Triple Threat Chips. If Triple Threat Chips exist on the selected number, the same color Triple Threat Chips on different betting spots will not be removed from their selections. However, if there are no Triple Threat Chips in the selected number, the dealer will proceed in normal Roulette procedures of marking the number and clearing the bets that did not win. Once the dealer pays the hit Triple Threat Chip, the dealer will then collect that chip for that hit number. Second Round Second Round Dealing: The normal game of Roulette will continue to play. Second Round only exists if there are 2 remaining Triple Threat Chips on the table for a player. Second Round Wagering: There is no second round wagering for Triple Threat. The chips must already be on the table. If the player has already lost their Triple Threat Chips, then they can opt to buy a new set of Triple Threat Chips and begin at the First Round again. Second Round Resolve: Upon hitting any of the special hit selected numbers, the dealer will check the selected number spot for any Triple Threat Chips. If Triple Threat Chips exist on the selected number, the same color Triple Threat Chips on different betting spots will not be removed from their selections. 4 However, if there are no Triple Threat Chips in the selected number, the dealer will proceed in normal Roulette procedures of marking the number and clearing the bets that did not win. Once the dealer pays the hit Triple Threat Chip, the dealer will then collect that chip on the hit number. End Game After all Triple Threat Chips are collected, the Triple Threat ends for that player. Players must finish selecting all 3 bets before the dealer can commence the spin; otherwise, the Triple Threat bets may not be all placed in time. 2. A player can select 3 chips on the same number, expecting three consecutive spins with the same number. At the time of each hit, only one Triple Threat Chip will be removed per round. 3. Subsequently from #2, the players can also elect to place 2 chips on one number and 1 chip on a different number. As per game rule, only one chip is removed per round, if a selected number gets hit. 4. Players will forfeit all Triple Threat Chips when none of the selected numbers from the Triple Threat wagers are hit. They may elect to buy them back for the initial $5. The odds of winning the first bet (Beginner s Luck) is 3/38 * 36/38 = , since there are 3 bets and 38 possible outcomes in the first round of play and 36 chances of losing out of the 38 possible outcomes in the second round bets. This is calculated in this manner because the Triple Threat Bets end when the player has no winning chip on the board. Any additional win in the second round would trigger the Double Trouble win. This is also assuming that the player decides to place all 3 bets in different number locations. (optimal decision) 2. The odds of winning the subsequent bet (Double Trouble), reliant on having to surpass the first bet obstacle, is 3/38 * 2/38 * 37/38 = There are 3/38 chances that the first bet succeeds, since there are 3 bets on the first bet, and 2/38 chances that the second bet succeeds since the player only has 2 chips remaining to bet for the second round. Then there is 37/38 chances that the third bet loses, which results in the payout of the Double Trouble win. Each time the player wins any bet, the player does get paid immediately, hence these wins are calculated as cumulative in the table, versus the paytable wins just show payout for each bet. 3. The odds of winning the third and final bet (Triple Threat), reliant on having surpassing the first two bet obstacles, is 3/38 * 2/38 * 1/38 = There are 3/38 chances that the first bet succeeds, since there are 3 bets on the first bet, 2/38 chances that the second bet succeeds since the player only has 2 chips remaining to bet for the second round, and 1/38 chance of the third bet succeeding since the player has only 1 chip to bet for the third and final round. This ends the betting payouts for the player since the player will have no remaining chips to bet with. 4. The odds of losing all 3 bets would just be the 35/38 = This is because there are 35 spots where the player can lose immediately in the first round. 5. The above table also shows that the player will always be losing 5 for their bet since the player has to pay 5 to receive the 3 chips. Regardless of any win, that paid 5 is the initial

6 wager that is not returned, hence the paytable is written in a manner of for. This is also because each time a bet is won, a chip is taken away. 6. The above table also shows cumulative wins for each winning sequence as mentioned in item 2. Since the initial wager is 5, each bet costs nothing additional to the player, but each for win pays the player, hence the player receives a cumulative win for each step in the table. 7. The Net Total multiplied by the Odds results in the individual return for each line item. The overall return for the game is the sum of all the individual returns of each line item (odds add up to 1), then the result must be divided by 5, since return is in a dollar value and this was done per $5 bet, and getting the true return would be per dollar bet, thus resulting in the casino hold of 3.91%. 8. Alas, depending on house rules, this also assumes optimal strategy for the player. If house rules does not allow the player to change their bet, but allows them to stack their bet on one number, given that only one chip is paid per round, then the player s return is greatly reduced if the player decides to do so. The calculated return for the player for stacking their chips in this situation is 29.17%. If the house rules does not allow the players to change their bets, but prohibits them from stacking their bet on one number, no optimal strategy is introduced in this variation as the player will have the expected odds explained. Additionally, if the player is allowed to change their bet at each round of victory, this will not alter any of the odds or return that are aforementioned in this document.
