3 1. General Information The BEMACRON dyes are a range of coordinated disperse dyes for dyeing acetate. The good combinability and regular exhaust properties ensure an optimum reproducibility. The BEMACRON dyes have very low thermal and ph sensitivity. Fluctuations ranging from 7 8 C / ph 6. only have a slight influence on the dyeing results. This is an additional important prerequisite for good reproducibility, especially when dyeing on jiggers. BEMACRON dyes have very good levelling and migrating properties with good wet fastness and outstanding fastness to light, as well as fastness to nitrogen oxides. 3. Dyeing instructions The exhaust and levelling behaviour of BEMACRON dyes can be controlled by temperature/time and by dispersinevelling agents. The optimum exhaust temperature is 8 C. Dyeing at C can only be recommended in exceptional cases, for example on the jigger. Preliminary trials are always recommended. To achieve the best possible level of fastness, for medium and dark shades we recommend afterwashing with BEZAMOL WS / SARABID DLO conc. 3.1 Exhaust dyeing Jet BEMACRON dyes show good reservation properties of viscose in blends. 1 BEMACRON dyes are suitable for exhaust dyeing on jets and jiggers, as well as for pad-jig dyeing. 8 at 8 C BEMACRON dyes fully meet the requirements of Öko-Tex Standard 1. They do not contain any small-molecular disperse dyes which are traditionally used for dyeing acetate and which are classified as sensitisers. Because of their colour strength and extraordinary colour build-up, BEMACRON dyes ensure a good cost-benefit ratio. Temperature [ C] 7 2 A B C 1 2. 4 3.1.2 Jigger Disperse dyes with low sensitivity to temperature fluctuations, as can occur during dyeing in the jigger, are a prerequisite for level dyeing. We recommend the use of a closed jigger to prevent uneven cooling of the goods, in particular of the selvedges. Dyeing recommendation: Heat the dye bath containing SARABID TS to C; set ph. using NEUTRACID H or MEROPAN KP. 5 Fastness information: The fastness properties of the dyed shades shown on the shade card correspond to 1/1 and 1/ SD. The fastness properties stated on the shade card were determined with 1/1 SD dyeing on 2 ½ woven fabric. Exceptions are BEMACRON Navy as well as BEMACRON Black, which were tested at the concentration stated in the shade card. The light fastness was tested with 1/1 and 1/12 SD dyeings. Exceptions are BEMACRON Navy as well as BEMACRON Black, which were tested with 2/1 SD dyeings.
