16 Main messages on Inra PPP tools A complex innovation ecosystem, especially in agriculture and food pilars The peculiarity of agriculture, due to the strong dependency to local conditions to be taken into account A broad range of tools for PPP implemented by Inra and its partners Tools used for most Inra priorities, mainly for joint programming and research collaboration: strategic orientations are defined at higher levels For Inra researchers, these tools are mainly implemented for conception of novelties, not for their adoption Large public financial supports (incentives) to these tools.016

21 Conclusions (1) Results from research take many years to reach market (and many never get there) PPP tools are useful to foster co-production of knowledge, conception and adoption PPP tools contribute to changing the environments of use (and of production of knowledge).021
