9 Onshore Oil & Gas The Onshore Facilities market for oil and gas is a challenging one. In facility design, cost and time are increasingly important factors that must be taken into account and must be done so without compromising other factors such as operability and safety. 11 Offshore Wind At the moment, onshore wind energy is economically the best way to produce durable energy. However, in the long term, the utilisation of offshore wind farms is also very advantageous in that an offshore location provides ample space for the facility, higher wind speeds than onshore and unobstructed areas. The energy that the turbines in a wind farm generate is gathered at an offshore transformer platform, where the energy is conditioned for transportation to the shore. We have gained a lot of experience in the design and engineering of HVDC/AC Platforms over the last couple of years. We have executed several wind energy projects in close cooperation with our partners.

This means that we place a great deal of attention towards mitigating risks by incorporating control measures into our design process. Helping the environment Managing CO 2 emissions is of great importance. Iv-Groep is certified by Lloyd s Register for the CO 2 Performance Ladder of SKAO (Stichting Klimaatvriendelijk Aanbesteden en Ondernemen) level 5, which is the highest level. 14 Procurement A properly structured procurement strategy is a key element for success in any industry, but especially in oil and gas. Ensuring the timely delivery of fully-certified materials and equipment, including the relevant documentation is of great importance. Over the years, we have been involved in many projects as EPC contractor. We provide procurement services for all process equipment, bulk piping items and other technical packages (such as compressors, skids, scrubbers, filters, UPS systems, navigational aids, et cetera). Iv-Oil & Gas is responsible for the design, engineering and procurement, including the integration of the TenneT free issued High Voltage components and the balance of plant materials. The Borssele Alpha and Beta OHVS will be the largest AC substations in the world. 23 Q13a-A Wellhead Protector Platform- GDF SUEZ E&P Nederland Iv-Oil & Gas was awarded the contract for the Detailed Engineering Design of the Amstel Field Development. The aim of the project was to determine the facilities required for the production, treatment and export of the oil and associated gas from the Amstel field, which is located in license block Q13 on the Dutch continental shelf. Due to this excavation, underground cavities were recovered, the so-called caverns. Gas stocks are stored in these cavities, which can often be found approximately 1.2 kilometres beneath the surface. In the old situation, the gas was stored in four underground salt caverns with a storage capacity of 140 million m 3. In the new situation, two additional 9 MW centrifugal compressors have been installed, which expands the injection capacity by a factor five. Iv-Oil & Gas performed the Engineering and Design, supplemented with Procurement, Inspection and Expediting, Site Supervision, Commissioning Supervision and Site Performance Testing. The transformer substation s three 180-MVA power transformers boost the voltage from 33 kv to 132 kv for transmission to shore. Three three-phase 132 kv high-voltage subsea cables transport the power to the feed-in point, which is located near Sizewell in Suffolk. The topsides also includes an auxiliary system for emergency power supply. Iv-Oil & Gas Scope of Work was the detailed engineering and design for the topside including the integration of the Siemens free issued High Voltage (HV) components and the balance of plant materials. Iv-Oil & Gas has also been assigned to execute purchasing activities on behalf of Damen Ship Repair for a large number of commodities, including the associated vendor document expediting and control. Iv-Oil & Gas executed the complete design of the Fluxys Belgium Gas Compressor Station as well as the Procurement activities.
