CONTEXT (OR PURPOSE) FOR THE TASK An in depth study of the Conceptual Framework and Four Frames throughout the history of Arts most significant movements. Individual Artists and artwork studies In Critical and Historical studies they investigate interpret and explain how artists represent ideas about social and cultural identity. Final essay focuses on investigation of Art as a historical, political and social commentary. TASK RUBRIC You will be assessed on your ability to: Present a well-reasoned and informed point of view. Apply understandings of the different aspects of content as appropriate (Practice, Conceptual Framework, and the Frames) Use relevant examples and provide appropriate discussion including conventions and practice OUTCOMES BEING ASSESSED, GENERAL CAPABILITIES & CROSS CURRICULUM PRIORITIES H7 H8 H9 H10 Applies their understanding of practice in art criticism and art history. Applies their understanding of the relationships among the artist, artwork, world and audience. Demonstrates an understanding of how the frames provide for different orientations to critical and historical investigations of art.
